  • Excellent demonstration and tutorial. I was banging my head against the wall on this....Now if you could just produce a video to teach me how to make my Andriod phone or iPad2 be able to control the Bluray player!

    Thank-you very much!

  • @Beatswow for iPad, it's called mediaremote, I think it works with most Sony Bluray players

  • Thank you sooo much for this!

This has saved me ages. The Sony manual is absolute rubbish. Brilliant work - thanks!

  • Your video is very good but my Sony BDP-S570 Blue-Ray can see the servers & folders, but keeps giving the message "No playable file". I can play the same files off the USB connection but not from network. The latest firmware has not fixed the problem.

  • I couldn’t care less about photos! I brought it for playing films in Dolby Stereo Digital TrueHD 6/8channel.

  • Don't really care about photos - I want a bluray that streams video

  • God sony, why do you have XMB on your blue ray players when it's on PS3? LOL

  • the Sony BDP-S760 is a multi-regional for blu ray ?

    it kan plai

    region A

    region B

    region C

o_O some body kan telle me which blu ray plai thoze

    regions pliz

  • Have you had any luck getting videos to play on your BDP? If so, what formats are you using?

  • Mine doesn't show an unknown device.. I've been through the internet setup multiple times and when I perform the network test it shows that all is correct.. Please Help!!

  • omg its like freaken ps3

  • my media player does`nt have streaming, looks a little different from your player

  • As long as you use Windows Media player the setup will be very similar. Windows Vista is a little more challenging because of all the security parameters. Windows XP is a breeze. There are other media players that work via DLNA but I find the Windows Media player to be the easiest. Make sure you have the most up to date Windows Media player as well. Hope that helps.

  • What are the chances of you doing a setup for vista,of course thats the one I have.Up to this point zero luck.PLZ,PLZ

  • I would suggest to leave it on the 1080i setting as the Blu-Ray player will default to either 720p or 1080i depending on how the Blu-Ray movie was mastered. Enjoy!

  • .I have 37' JVC LCD TV w/ 720p output but the setup menu on S560 reads it as 1080i. which setting should I use. if it matters am using Monster HDMI cable
