Yeah vince's singing is bad... And he did sing much better in 80's, and he has never been really talented singer, but was way better than this. Half the time the crowd was doing the singing the other half he was out of breath, out of tune, slurring , and missing words. And the only way he tried to make up for it was by cussing..not impressed. Very poor singing, and that is not an opinion by any stretch of the word..that is a fact.

I'm not gonna make excuses for the guy, because he never was a superb singer. But live recordings do not capture how well he sounds when you're actually at the concert. I saw him at Sheffield a few nights ago, and he was on top form all night. He looks a lot healthier than he did several years ago, and he looked saw fucking happy on stage it's hard not to like the guy. He gave everything and we gave everything in return. I lost my voice trying to sing as high as he did.

I a cruehead, I have tons of old crue dvds. Believe me, Vince could sing back in the day. Not everybody can perform at 100% 20 years later. His problem started 8 years ago, and got worse after his surgery. Vince still sang fine from 1997-2000.

And he's not fat! he just about 45 years old. That's what a lot of people look like at that age. I believe he's trying, but maybe his throat or nostrils prevent him for singing all the words. So he's forced to simplify the lyrics (IMO).

I saw them back in the year in New York, Berlin and Cologne and there were never any problems with his voice. Guess, he always had and will have a high voice which in not of everyones liking...
