However, you are inferring too much here. The difference is that the Romans did not use the same psychological mechanism that the Israelites used because, obviously, their belief system was different. The Romans had a professional army, were iron clad, and trained regularly for battle.

@geekyfandubs LOL I could care less, kike is spouted because it's a funny word and it makes people upset. I honestly don't like any racial group that refuses to assimilate. Though that might be a Jewish conspiracy. I'm down with it. Any group that holds themselves apart, be they white, black, hasidic or asian is a danger to the spirit of the race. Jews are the most insular of the race. So they catch the most hate, simple cause and effect.
