  • We got 2 jack's

One with and one with out the tail,

its also illegal in The Netherlands know, i also prefer a long tail also, but with a hand-size tail, they also look gorgeous:)

    Nice vid!

    cheers

  • they have long tails?

  • yeah the tails are long unless they get cut off hen a puppy. that's really old fashioned style, and illegal now in australia. i prefer the tail.

  • It's really not a question of fashion , the tail is cut off when they are puppies because the jack russell was used as ratter, he went down in holes of rats or rabbits , his tail had to have the size of the hand, to be able to get the dog outside from holes without making it endure pain ... with long tail the jack would have had pain . that's the reason why. sorry for my bad english ...

  • they sure are having fun!

  • lol 1:17 the staredown

  • lol it looked like they froze in time or something

  • Reminds me of my Jack and Husky/Akita Mix. The JRT is an Alpha Female, and even at the park, if another dog tries to challenge her she will snap at them or pin them, even larger dogs. She and my Female Huskita are best pals, despite the fact the JRT was 5 yrs. old when I got my current Huskita puppy. The JRT took up for the puppy against harassing dogs twice, and once rammed a dog on its back then snarled at it for nipping at the puppy. The Husky/Akita would kill someone if they hurt the Jack.

  • i dont understand why people think GSDs are slow because they are big. they are extremely agile..they just dont use the agilty for every situation....watch the dog shows......!!!

  • look how gsd is catching small one 1:53-2:04 gsd know where small one is going to turn .gsd is very smart and best dog to me

  • I'm thinking about getting a GSD. I already have a Yorkshire terrier but that's more my sisters kind of dog. I'm a sporty guy and I want something a bit bigger and more active. Any suggestions? Also will the terrier and shepherd get along cuz I don't want any alpha dog nonsense between them.

  • im in the same situation ive got a female yorkie and i want to get a female gsd ...jst hope they get along lol

  • long...long...so...good play!

  • Brilliant. Typical GSD with the patience, playfulness and tolerance that's clearly shown in a well brought up dog.

  • that terrier is a tough little shit

  • any big dog is too slow for a jack russel!!!

  • My JRT is a mean little shit. He thinks he the boss of my Ches.Bay Ret. and starts fights with them. He a very jealous dog.

  • HA! stupid german sheperd cant keep up with the jrt german sheperd= noob sauce

  • .. they're playing buddy

  • German shepard is older seems thats why the russel is so easy going has respect , Jacks are my fav my dad like's Shepards, rotwielers and malinjuah and i masacarred the spelling i'm sure mom has dobermans and jack russels

  • i know someone who saw a jack attack a german and it nearly won...they have NO fear. mine went for a PAIR of eng mastifs in the park and my wife ended up been bit...lol

  • I have a German Shep bitch and a male Jack Russ and they used to play like this every day until something changed and now I cant keep them in the same room as they try to kill each other!! Been seperated for a year now but are fine walking together!!

  • lol...loved the face off.........like somethin from high noon...

  • Jack Russell was fast, but your German Shephard pwned him.

  • lol jrts scrappy little buggers never back down from anything

  • GSDs' sure like to use their front paws a lot. Mine is the same way.

  • Too cute for words! My GSD loves to play with little dogs like that at the dog park. She's afraid of the big ones but will play all day with the wee ones. :D

  • My german shepherd just wants to play with all the dogs, but if she goes near the little dogs their owners usually tell me to put her back on the lead, they don't understand that she is playing not fighting, and she is not an aggresive dog.

  • Lol the jack shook the crap out of the sheperd. I love german sheperds though

  • My shepherd and foxy play the same way they used to run all over the yard chasing each other, the shepherd couldnt keep up when she was younger now the foxie cant it is so funny the foxie yelpihg at the shepherds ankles as if he is saying slow down my legs are only short

  • i have a jrt mix and a normal jrt

  • That's so cute!

  • Isn't it crazy how JRT's and big dogs play so well? Sometimes my little Jack will hop the fence and run next door to play with a giant Boxer... he usually ends up coming home with a bunch of slobber all over him but it's so funny to watch them play.

  • omg... my german shephard plays with our neighbors jack russell terrier too, then i stumble across this video, i'm not the only one, lol.

  • Yeah Donzi. My friend has a Jack and he attacks (or tries to) my 110 pound german shepherd. What other mix do you think would work well?

  • So cute! I have the exact same pair - Similar playing. (Though the german shepherd thinks he is a jack russell too...)

  • my GSD and my cat play like this lol, very funny to watch.

  • Pepper, my jrt, just loves to play with big dogs too! She doesn't know shes tiny. =P Just 6 months. check her videos out!!!

  • great dribbling

  • How is it possible they play together? My Jack confronts big dogs, especially german shephard. They get in serious fights.

  • i know what you mean, my jack wants to fight with anything that moves.. loves people though..

  • brilliant video,my german shepherd needs a play mate like that cos our cat just hates him when he wants her to play.he looks so stunned when she hisses at him

  • Very cute! I have the same combo and they play exactly the same it's so funny!

  • My German Shepherd wrestles like that with a Jack Russell/collie cross. Except is it the small dog chasing the big one!

  • looooooooooooooooool fucki jacks hahah i love them

  • That's exactly how my German shepherd and small dog play!!! Exactly the same...so hilarious...

  • We have three German shepards in the neighbourhood, and my JRT just loves to play with dogs, that bigger.
