  • trying to teach myself as well. pretty hard but fun and its the easiest instrument to carry with you lol. keep up the good work!

  • Not perfect , but nice sound ,well done you ! good luck from Scotland.

  • A chro will drive you nuts after using a 10-hole diatonic, but it's worth it, since you can play more keys with one harp. It's hard, but you're young and have time to keep practicing.

  • Not bad! learn to bend the notes that are missing or better yet, get yourself a chromatic.

  • I am 'now'... :] That beautiful Nordic face brought me to this video, but it was your playing that made me want to stay. Great job!

Those "missing notes" (the ones that are just not there) always kept me from wanting to do more on the harmonica. Then I took up guitar and found out my fingers were the weak link... so I started singing; oh well... But you are really talented!

  • check out sonny terry, alfred lewis, and william mccoy - three best harmoncia players of all time. many great uploads of them on my channel. cheers

  • Theres someone out your window.

  • very impressive, especially for just starting out! I love the harmonica among other instruments, very underrated though. Good job for keeping the instrument alive!

  • would love to hear u now!very nice note's here for a beginner!should feel very good about it.no need to qworry about over blows for along time.many pros never use them the old greats never did.just play straight harp like ur doing then get the draw bends when ur ready to start playing cross harp then a little later get some blow bends.i use these alot.been playing 6 yrs and never use over blows.haV A FRIEND BEEN PLAYIN OVER 25 YRS AND DOES NOT USE THEM AND BELIEVE ME HE IS BAD ASS!

  • playing more elaborate melodies is a bit difficult. nonetheless, good job. maybe youre playing even better by now :)

  • would you marry me?

  • go on! tu est sur la bonne voie! bonne soirée!

  • you look like Karen from the office except with blonde hair

  • is that someone in the background?

  • fome la weona

  • Done Very Well. Keep it up? Which Harmonica and what Key were you playing in

  • Your notes are really clear. Keep up the good work, you're doing great!

  • wow it sounds good, i have been palying for a few months also, i play c and Bb , love to play Amazing grace.....keep on blowin...:)

  • Well played

  • are you reading this when your playing?

  • well, according to me the sound is clean - you are precise in the holes - but you have some problem with the tempo. You should use something - or someone - to keep it for you - another instrument, a friend who moves a foot in time...

    you'll be great!

    Greetings from italy

  • it sounded great to me.hows the bending notes going.ive been playing harmonica for 15 years or so,and i still havent learnt how to bend notes,so i dont bother to try anymore.i just play the lee oskar melody maker.which has already got altered notes........marty

  • super bien joué.

  • excellent stuff! really good intonation come watch my videos when you start bending and they can help with developing some riffs!

    xx

  • im starting playin the harp

i lvoe it and im just searching videos

i found this and you are the few people that play something nice and " easy " i think to learn xD

  • Very nice... :)

  • your looking at some kind of notes, where do I get notes so I can learn this tune?

    sounds nice the song,kinda sad

  • nice :)

  • nicely done. :-) how long have you been playing? i'm also teaching myself.

  • about a month or so.

  • @brainsick86

hey me too. Keep it up!

  • You are doing fine! You asked for critique. The reed on blow 7 is a bit flat. Also if you wish to play the melody exactly, you miss to notes, where you would have to overblow (5o and 6o). So there is your motivation for learning to bend and overblow - or try a chromatic.

    Keep on!

    Regards

    Knud

  • thanks! ..and yes bending is something im having a bit of trouble figuring out! lol thanks again for the tips :)

  • @brainsick86 just keep on trying i found many videos on youtube to help me bend

  • So much talent on Youtube!

  • ..i try... i try... lol

  • Not bad :D

    Your pretty to.
