The other one worked for about 2 days

it was still better than half charged i went to tranfer pics to pc , powered down and would not power back up... so took it back

@pattycakelove I suggest that you pop out the USB arm, and insert the USB arm into the USB port on your computer to charge it fully.

@Appelnootje  I think that you need to charge the battery inside the camera. I suggest that you pop out the USB arm which is located under the battery door at the bottom of the camera. Then insert the USB arm into the USB port on your computer to charge the battery.

OK. I need to know how to get recording time back. I took a picture and moved it to my computer and now i have less recording time. how do I clear the hard drive and get time back?

Honestly the same thing happened to me, I had to go look it up on the Kodak website, above the micro SD slit, there is a little reset button that you can click, click it, and problem solved, and if your camera.ever freezes, just click reset! And if this didn't help you, then send it to kodak, or get a new one! Hope this helped!!!

@JohnsGuitar777 I just got one today and it won't even charge... I stick it in the usb port and it says the usb won't recognize it and it has never even came on.

@honeybeex0 thats very weird, however i solved my problem, im not sure it'll work for u though, all i did was plug it in and then press the power button, then it recognized my usb. It's possible that you could've gotten a faulty camera, sometimes things can slip past quality control.

Alright everybody!!! Got it figure out!!

Install camera into your usb port, but MAKE SURE power is off camera! and then when its connected, wait a 15 seconds or so, and then turn on your camera and after that it should ask you if you want to install software or watch video with what ever program you use to watch video's! and then voila!!

Hope this helps the one's that where having problems like me!!

@johnnybrazil01 Doubtful. I believe the Zi8 is the only one Kodak has put out with that feature so far, even though the PlaySport technically has the same "guts."
