@miketheride You can, but it is a difficult process and you can mar or crush your magazine tube. I would not recommend it. Just to cover the basics, you have removed the wooden dowel out of your magazine tube correct?
hey i have a question that i saw re-guarding the take down i have a mav88 myself but i don't have the double rods on the pump. was that an add on you did on yours? is it possible to change the pumps to a different style?
good video had i not already known how to do this this would have thought me. if u know how to polish the bolt i would realy appreciate it if you could do a vid off to your channel to check out more vids
thanks. best video ive seen about the 88. i bought one at a gun show for $200 and its my favorite shotgun in my collection. what did you use for color fill on the receiver?
@jokerxxx74 Thanks for the feedback, I used white fingernail polish on the receiver. A lot of if really wasn't stamped deep enough for it to be uniform. Just playing around with it, but it turned out OK.
i mean like will the moss500 extended mag tube fit?
miketheride 4 hours ago
@miketheride No, not without modification. The end of the mavericks magazine tube won't allow a shell to pass through.

@miketheride no, it is stock. The older ones have the single slide bar, I believe they changed to double slide bars in the late 90's. Hope this helps

You obviously know your gun. Dark gun, dark background. Need to improve the overall lighting on video. Everyone has to start somewhere. This is good.
