@nickparker1234 For sure, those classic stories still have the power to capture today's youth's imaginations. That's a testament to how good they are!
Nice video showin off those comics. Love the "Robin Dies at Dawn" . I myself am working on a dream Batman run from 150-current . How big is your Batman run ? I'm also envious on that Avengers 4 in that CGC. Sucks it was sent to ya cracked.
@Ecwfan I actually don't have as many Batman comics as I'd like but i love the Robin Dies at Dawn cover. The problem with Batman (and Superman) is that there are just way too many back issues! The Avengers 4 is sweet, I got a good deal on it and the cover is one of my all time favs. Cheers dude!
Great stuff. I just started collecting comics maybe 2 weeks ago. I had some when I was younger, I'm now 17 so I guess that was to long ago, but anyways I am collecting Batman just his own comic, not spinoff ones or whatever you would call them, just the 1940-current ones from his own comic, anyways so far my earliest issue is #195. Do you have any tips as I am new to the collecting aspect. Also I am interested in the whole cgc thing but I don't know much about it. Any advice is appreciated.
@MrMagicRyleyMusic well, it's always good to expand your tastes even though this will eventually cost more....the problem with keeping up with one book is that companies tie in stories to other books, thus forcing you to buy more. The return of Bruce Wayne, for example, is happening in its own mini-series rather than in the core Batman title. CGC is great. I have submitted twice and had no problems. CGC is also great for when you buy a vintage book because you know the exact grade the book's in.
In all honesty, the best tool is ebay and patience which might sound like something you`ve heard before but it`s the truth. Establish which key books you`re into (1st appearances, etc.) and shop around on ebay to get a feel for the prices. If the same book is being relisted again and again then it`s either overpriced or not a popular item (even though it`s the book YOU`RE after), which means you can opt for a better deal. Then it`s time to check out the auctions.....
do u read them ???

Yeah, but it's cool. The seller sent me enough to cover the repairs and I brought it to the next comic show where CGC had a booth. All's good :)
