I love going online (to Apmex, Gainesville Coin, etc) and giving them my credit card number, then in a few days gold and silver magically appear at my doorstep! This has to be the closest thing to alchemy man can ever hope to achieve!!!

yes he will, so it's a good thing to keep some cash on hand to live on. Gold and silver are for preserving your wealth, in hopes that the economy will recover someday. I personally have all my wealth tied up in my house and land.

It is true that they are not making any more land, the problem is land can be taxed out from under you. No one knows where the bottom of the real estate market will be but I think we can all agree it has not bottomed yet so buying land right now seems like a bad idea. My plan is to trade some of my silver for the home/land I want in the future. Right now I feel that if you can't hold it and hide it from the thug government then you don't own it.

You and all the other patriots have sold me. I don't have much to buy silver with but I just purchased 88 silver eagles and I plan to add 2 or 3 more every pay day as long as I am financially able. Everyone find a respectable local coin dealer to buy from if you can. Stay away from the big brokerage houses unless you have alot of money to purchase your gold or silver with. I recently bought silver bullion, and for me it was like buying insurance. If the dollar fails the silver increases in value. If the dollar stays strong and the silver devalues, I've paid an insurance premium.

They might be able to temporarily drive silver prices down again but it is seriously undervalued now. Gold is undervalued and silver is running about 1/70th when it historically runs 1/16th or golds price. I also love silver's seemingly endless industrial and medical uses, I really believe it is the metal of the future and prices should one day equal or surpass gold (maybe not within our lifetime on that last part)

well said, I am trying to get as much siler as possible..... cant afford the Gold but I feel good about silver.... I agree the first thing you should get is Guns Ammo, Food, guns etc. those are insurance.... if the shit hits the the fan you will need these things to protect yourself. Gary

the day will come that a box of ammo will be traded over the fence for an ounce of gold or better. Gold, Silver, Guns, Ammo,it's all good, but definitely get the guns and ammo first. I bought a stagarms AR-15 last year for $880, and yesterday in Mesquite TX they were $1,900 on the rack. Ammo has doubled in the last 6 months alone, and quality hi-cap magazines are almost triple and still rising.
