  • Hi Thomas, that's excellent - lots of effort. Can include this in my geography project?

  • @BoBothemightyguy yes with reference

  • I'm making a volcano sculpture right now, and this video helped me so much on the basic color of a volcano. Thanks a lot!

  • hi,

thomas, did you visit the Kilimanjaro in Africa?

it is supposed to be so beautiful.

  • Beautiful Thomas, you left La Palma volcanoes behind!!! Nice video

  • Thanks for the nice comment, I have to admit that it is not a comprehensive collection ;-) - however this year I visited La Palma and I will include Teneguia and Co in the second part of "volcanoes around the world II" :-)

  • I totally agree, when I have finished my studies I will definitely come. Mexico is worth a visit not only due to its volcanoes, which are of course very interesting and active :-)!

  • Wow!! What a marvelous video. It is very excellent collection of great volcanoes around the world. Thanks for your generosity in sharing perfect work here. It is so useful for someone who has no volcano experience or volcano knowledge, absolutely including me. I look forward to see more remarkable volcano videos here. Keep on perfect work, Thomas. I love your work very much;-).

    Junejungko...

  • nice i like volcanoes in new zeland

  • 1:38 is really creapy...

  • Nice video! You should visit Japan for a few volcanoes. Plenty are active, Sakurajima just had some activity recently.

  • Sakurajima would be a dream for its activity and of course Mt Fuji for its beauty ;-)

  • Mt Fuji is definitely beautiful. I climbed it 3 years ago and saw the sunrise from the summit. An overnight climb is quite interesting, especially when you see the trail of lights of hundreds of people going up the mountain :)

  • That really sounds great! Maybe I will once have the opportunity...

  • I recommend it if you can. It's not a difficult climb, but it's more of a climb to say "I did it." :)

  • That song pwns.

  • *owns i think u meant to say lol

  • This is great. I want to show it to my 6th grade class as I am teaching about volcanoes but I can't get it to copy! Love it!

Great quality, good images of volcanoes that one can use to teach kids about different kinds of volcanoes. The music adds to the beauty and feel rather than getting in the way.

  • Magma is the warmest thing on earth... i think

  • LOL 4:18 looks like a firework XD

  • I have been on White island twice, its out at sea from the town called Whakatane.

  • Nice pictures. I sure wouldn't want to live in close proximity to a volcano even if it was still considered to be inactive. They are really unpredictable. Thanks for the video!

  • Vielen Dank! Ich werde das Video für mein Vulkanreferat benutzen.

  • that's hot

  • y was that guy on the volcanoe was he a real man or was he a statue its at 3 23 did he get melded in with it

  • he've been petrified stupid! its not a statue

  • He was a vilager from a place called Pompeii. He and thousands of others where killed and vaporized when Vesuvius exploded. That is not a petrified person. When the town was excavated, the archeologists found occasional voids in the ash layer that contained human remains. They injected plaster into them to perfectly recreate the forms of Vesuvius's victims.

  • Here's a famous one and also quite eerie of a kid sucking his thumb.

    upload.wikimedia(dot)org/wikipedia/commons/d/d7/Pompeii_the_last_day_6.jpg

  • Starke Aufnahmen, einfach toll!
