It is easy to make it run slower but it will be a surface-running sub :) Because it does not have a 'pump', it NEEDS the speed to force it under water.

if i build a scale sub, i will also keep the speed in scale, if i want speed, i will not build a scale sub.

you can trim the sub to near zero balance, then just a little forward speed may already make it dive

Man seeing the RC Kilo move really kills the immersion. It moves like a fish instead of a slow moving diesel sub.

Underwater the real Kilo speed is further handicapped.
