the genius of this is in running north and using the net hotkey to face south. that leaves the guesswork out of the angle and you can focus more on the timing. thanks for the tip.

ah, i remember the first time this happened. i rented animal crossing from the store (no memory card) and just got the house. i was playing the game and started shaking trees at 3 in the morning, then this happend.... i turned off the game. i did not play again for 3 months

I shook a tree once and a beehive fell and i didn't really care if i caught it or not, so I swung my net without caring and I caught it.

Loll I have caught a firefly init cool XD at night time it was just a yellow ball in the sky I was likee... Wth is that man? So I catched it and its in my room xxx:) The thing you need to do is wait late at night have your net and just catch a yellow ball in the sky make sure its 10 - 11 0'clock xx :)

You can also shake the tree the hive falls out you run then you go into your pockets(the bees can't sting you when you are in your pockets) take out your net get out of your pockets and swing. I've only caught like 3 bees out of 7 hives so it just takes practice

Did you know you can also catch people in your towns fleas. Lol its pretty funny. I tried it not knowing what would happen and I accidently caut one.

An easy way to find a bee hive is if you get a bad fortune from Katrina. I don't think I'll ever have the golden net because those bee hives scare me like the tarantulas xD

i totally agree! XD i was running around looking for bagworms one day and i found 7 bee hives in my trees in one day! i had heard that weird things happen when you have whisps lamp in your pocket but i didn't really believe it until that day :D

yes they do if your switching through your shovel, net, fishing rod, etc. it's really helpful

It would've been a bit easier and faster to head for your menu and click on the net instead of shuffling through your tools. The bees will freeze in place while you are on your menu.

Still great job! It's hard to catch these things, as well as scorpions and tarantulas.

When my sister caught a bee for the first time she almost crapped her pants XD she made it look easy even though she was surprised she actually did it. However, when I tried to catch a bee I got stung 5 times then threw the Wiimote on the floor.

another thing that will work is run straight then go to your pokets grab your net, then close your pokets and run in a small circle and stop facing the bees, and imedietly swing your net its harder but ive caught a lot of bees doing it
