Tip: Instead of hot glueing the straps on the back, use jb weld to attach 4 bolts to the back, then secure the straps on with some nuts.

JB weld never comes off, so it'll stay secure.

You should use Hobby Hut Insta Cur glue, it dries in three seconds. You can get it at your local Hobby Hut. (WARNING: DO NOT touch the glue, it will fuse your fingers together.... very dangerous)

good tips, but unless your a rather small person, i would use something larger than a direct TV dish. the Captain's shield covers his entire back, so be sure to get something that large...or else it will go from shield to cheesy plastic looking replica prop you can buy for $20 at any local comic shop...their next to the $8 Guy Fawkes masks.
