This video brings back a lot of memories for sure, but I always thought this game was way too inferior compared to it's 2 predecessors. Still a good game though.
For some reason I remember the graphics being much much better. Is this really the nintendo version? And also is there a difference between computer and nintendo graphics?

My nephew and his N64 introduced me to Turok 2 Seeds of Evil and ever since then Ive been hooked on this series.I just wish the people over at Nintendo would put a decent Turok title on my Nintendo Wii.
turok 2 is an absolute steaming pile of shit compared to the first turok. the control is so bad in this game you can't even hit enemies that are right in front of you. they did the stupidest possible thing: speed up the enemies, and slow turok way down. you move so slow you can't even avoid getting shot most of the time. they sacrificed gameplay for visuals and i couldn't care less about how detailed things are. i'm thinking of buying turok 3 and skipping over 2.
Turok 1 is good.. turok 2 is better in every way dude.
And turok 3 sucks.. its by far the worst turok game.
Turok 2... better guns,better ai,better enemies and longer gameplay... More items and higher level of interactivity with the enviornment... Their was actually reasons to go back into previous levels and find more secrets.. to find the feathers and use them and such.
'better guns, better ai, better enemies and longer gameplay...' none of that makes up for the absolutely shitty gameplay. when the control isn't good, the whole game is ruined. and going back into a level after i've already gone through it is definitely not appealing. just more frustration added to the already unworkable controls. fail.
i've got good taste in games, although i haven't played perfect dark. i've got zelda, conker's bad fur day, road rash, nuclear strike, duke nukem... i guess i need to work at turok 2 a little harder to get into some of the good stuff.
@oregonflatland Conker's Bad Fur Day was the shit!! It was like a parody game. Terminator, Matrix, Saving Private Ryan, Clock Work Orange, Dracula, Alien, it was slight.... but I think they even quoted Resevoir Dogs.

@FurFagWolf Perfect Dark was an amazing game. One weapon's secondary fire had an auto-lock on with thin green lined squares for crosshairs(sp.?) that reminded me of RoboCop's targeting system.
you want realistic games. if you cannot aim your target than it's your fault. and there are options in this game where you can make turok move or react faster. the only thing what is stupid to all games:the story behind turok.
'if you cannot aim your target than it's your fault' no when your enemies are right in front of you and you're pulling the trigger and your shots are going everywhere but the enemy that is a problem with gameplay, not aim. turok 1 is far superior to turok 2 in terms of gameplay and control. i'm on level 5 now in turok 2 and the giant fleas and mantids have been right in front of me dozens of times when it is impossible to miss and still the enemies won't die. it's bullshit.
if the crosshair is on the enemy then i shot the enemy and nowhere else. i don't know the problem. another point why turok 2 is better: the enemies are a bit more intelligent. and there are more weapons.

I know it's not a popular opinion but this is my favorite Turok game. It might not be quite as epic-feeling as 2, but the action is more satisfying and it doesn't have the annoying backtracking. It's a more streamlined, well-focused, ultimately just better FPS. I'd even say this is my second-favorite FPS on the system, after Perfect Dark.

I have beat this game on Oblivion but before I forgot the first PSG part along the way so I went back using the warp on the cheat menu but then the game didn't give me Joshua because I "cheated" so I threw the game into my closet and it remains there still.

Oblivion infects every thing in it´s path, so the police contains the area in which Oblivion is making mutants, and when you start the game you are in that area.. :S :)
Turok 1 is set Between WWI and WWII (as turok uses an AK-47), Turok 2 is more modern, and Turok 3 is set in the near future. Turok:Evolution is a prequel, featuring the Turok from Turok 1, and is set during the Indian Wars. This is possible as time in the Lost Land flows differently than that of Earth.
Turok using an AK isn't evidence of the time period in and of itself- the AK-47 and its many knockoffs have been popular in videogames, movies, and real life battles since it was invented.
yeah it is if you remember in turok:evol. a.k.a turok ZERO the openning cutscence that turok is fighting a cowboy of some sort right so natives americans nd cowboys fought in wat the 18th century
The problem that shatters your theory is that the Turok in Turok Dinosaur Hunter (Tal Set?) was a time traveling warrior, as was the Campainger and his troops. They could have simply grabbed some futuristic gear and went back in time to assemble the Chronosceptor.

Unfourtunatly, the makers decided to make a vastly inferior game to the original series of 5 games and decided to disregard that story in favor of a new one.
I have the first two games, but not 3. This one goes for about 10-15 dollars on Ebay. I snagged the first two games for under 3 or 4 dollars total, with shipping. All great games, but very challenging.

Turok 2 Seeds of Evil and Dinosaur Hunter is better then al lof them. And Turok 2008 the re-boot is better then this one and Evolution to imo.

Oblivion infects every thing in it´s path, so the police contains the area in which Oblivion is making mutants, and when you start the game you are in that area.. :S :)

Turok 1 is set Between WWI and WWII (as turok uses an AK-47), Turok 2 is more modern, and Turok 3 is set in the near future. Turok:Evolution is a prequel, featuring the Turok from Turok 1, and is set during the Indian Wars. This is possible as time in the Lost Land flows differently than that of Earth.

The problem that shatters your theory is that the Turok in Turok Dinosaur Hunter (Tal Set?) was a time traveling warrior, as was the Campainger and his troops. They could have simply grabbed some futuristic gear and went back in time to assemble the Chronosceptor.

I have the first two games, but not 3. This one goes for about 10-15 dollars on Ebay. I snagged the first two games for under 3 or 4 dollars total, with shipping. All great games, but very challenging.
