She said she was there, or walked away for a second or soemthing and he did like 15 mins after she walked away. I'm not sure, since I was not there and only a baby. But that's what she said. She said she never left his side. I don't know, the only thing matters is that Freddie was loved by many and still is. We all love and Miss him.

I believe Freddie was in love with Mary. However, since he was gay his romantic love for her could not last forever. So he wanted a love of true friendship instead and since she was in love with him she forgave him for cheating on her with a man and decided to stick with him till the end.
