  • Would you recommend installing this without taking out the motherboard from a case that has a cutout? How difficult would it be?

  • Does the hexagonal wrench come with the package? Or do you have to buy it separately.

  • @DriodFX it does come with the package

  • Would it fit in a computer thats 210mm wide?

    Nice vid =)

  • I want this so badly. Going to put this in my next build

  • Easy

  • it looks like the engine of audi r8!

  • @paoloyu2296 Thats why its called Cooler master "v8"

  • Does it work with am3?

  • @FrostyFang Yes

  • This cooler work in AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition?

  • @anxeLx Yes

  • @anxeLx Sure does i am using it now for my 1090T :)

  • this is a very big cooler

  • I dont know much about pc s so can someone say wat that is??

  • can i install the cooler master v8 4 pin into 3 a pin motherboard cpu fan

  • @sp1eedy: "If you connect the fan cable to 3-pin header on the motherboard, the PWM function will not work." => Yes you can.

  • that thing is HUGE !! looks like a mini V8 car engine lol

  • yea i love a v8 i had a custome mini build v8 put on my murray but it needs a radiator

  • @sloppiexx hmm.. i wonder if that's where it gets it's name ¬__¬

  • hi guys! which procedure is easier? installing the V8 heatsink to the motherboard first before putting it on the case OR installing the motherboard first to the case before installing the v8? i need help im just a noob!

  • it would be better installing the fan/heatsink first. then put the motherboard in the case. the fan weights a lot.

  • Short, concise and to the point. Good for relieving my pre- purchase anxiety about the install.

  • wow u have to flip the mobo to install lame....its gonna be a pain in the ass doin that when i have to remove a mobo attached to a 11inch 275 gtx

  • or u no just remove the gpu b4 installation

  • yeah but it was worming it into the case to fit that sucked so doing it again is not something im gonna look forward to lol.

  • Take out the video card...yoru gonna brake yoru board.

  • @CABdosdos lol you mean you wouldn't remove it first? Dear god, even I'm not that stupid.

  • water cooling works better agreed, but I don't want the hassle of draining and filling every six months

  • does it fit on AM3 ?

  • From what I understand It will work on an AM3 CPU. The AM2+ and the AM3 are similar chips just one can used DDR3 ram.

  • yes it will fit am3

  • Yeah the V8 is definitely not as good as Water cooling. But its one of the best most efficient air cooling. I am getting one of these to put on my AMD Phenom II 940 and Ive seen guys using this CPU cooler and getting 4.2-4.4ghz from there phenoms.

  • Does anyone know if this will onto an ASUS m3n-ht deluxe motherboard. I really wanna get this for my 940. But I dont wanna have to upgrade mobos too.

  • is the v8 as good as a water cooling system

  • NOOOO!!!! what makes you think that, no air cooling product is going to compare to a water cooling solution eficiency

  • Yes it is, thecost alone makes it better. Water cooloing is ok if you are a hardcore gamer- use autocad. But using water to cool any electronic device ist a wise idea unless you're ready to except the consequences

  • it isnt water its a special non conductive liquid used in watercooling, well thats what i used anyway, if you used water it would cause rust on your system, i use oil anyway as it is more efficient at removing heat lol

  • @kraniumman Non conducting coolant...

  • @kraniumman Water cooling isn't actual water you know right? It's a non conductive liquid.
