  • Medium Pepperoni Pizza from Dominos in my area is $6. Large is about $10.

  • That awkward moment when the top two comments are the same and by the same person. O_O

  • An EXTRA large in my town (your large is like our medium as it is) is like 16 dollars with three toppings

No wonder america is so fat XD

  • Damn that's such a rip off.

  • @TiNkErRaMm Della serie, facciamoci riconoscere eh...

Credo non ci sia nessuna pizzeria che spedisce pizze in Giappone, ergo loro si devono accontentare...

  • @MickLawification yeah :D

IF they lowered the FIRST digit , then it's great LOL !

  • Yeah, they cost as much here in Singapore.

  • Stupid people replying to my post.

I'll let you live with your ignorance.

  • @clearlyme2u It's not stupid, it's the truth. People in other countries buy expensive stuff only once in a while, probably only once a year to treat themselves not just to be lazy. Only rich people would buy expensive, take out, fast food everyday of their lives. Buying an expensive, already made food does not equal laziness. What is wrong with treating yourself once in a while? It doesn't matter as long as you're not doing it everyday, you have money and you enjoy yourself.

  • Wow that's expensive :) in Australia it's about $8 for large pizzas.

  • That is the price you pay to be lazy and uncreative.

No disrespect intended sir. I say that to anyone who would pay that ridiculous amount on something so easy to make yourselves, for much cheaper. YT here is a great source to learn these things too. This world is going to crap and it is too sad to see so many lazy people who refuse to be really responsible for themselves...economic maturity is something people must learn.

  • @clearlyme2u um sorry bro, but that makes absolutely no sense. Everything in Japan is expensive, and things are in smaller portions because the Japanese are usually more concerned with health and what not. Pizza's so cheap in these other fat countries because there just trying to get lazy white people to buy their shit.

  • $8 for a large here!

  • large pizza in philippines 4$ equivalent

  • @jomarantolinbuy It's really funny because when I was still there, I always thought it's really expensive and I don't wanna spend my money. Now that I'm in US, I'm saving lots of money to spend in the Philippines, buy more stuff with cheaper price but same, even better quality.

  • omg 30 dollars lol

  • at the current exchange rate that pizza costs 39.0135 U.S. dollars!!!!!!!!

  • real pizza is from italy

  • Argentina has some of the best pizzas in the world.

  • 30$ WTF?!

  • the large one much larger than that one is like 5 dlolars :D

  • In Poland Pizza cost about 9 złoty to 40 złoty (depends on size, ingredients, how exclusive is restaurant).

Your would be middle size. If you make it on your own it coud cost less than 6 złoty for middle size.

Today 1 american dollar is about 3 polish złoty

  • Eat it god dammit xD

  • $30! bitch puleez in canada you get 2 pizzas and a lap dance for $30!

  • at pizza pizza its 5 or 6 dollars for a medium

  • If japanese pizza is anything like the ones you get in korea, goddamit its worth it. Pizza is just so different there, better toppings and strange but good combinations.

  • WOW. We get a large pie (way larger than the one you showed) for about $10. I don't understand why your pizza is so expensive. The ingredients for pizza are so cheap! just some dough, tomato sauce & cheese.

  • Dude, Little Ceasar's here sells 5 dollar large pizzas.

  • That large is definitely not a large in america, it's more like a medium. We (my family) never pays more than $15 for a pizza that size. Those pizzas are ridiculously expensive.

  • fanculo la pizza come si mangia in italia ve la sognate ahahahahaha

  • Italian pizza <3

  • Oh, and the pizza in this video is like the medium size in America.

  • Cost about $12 for a large in America (at least where I live). Of course, most places wont deliver unless you order at least $16-25. So you have to end up ordering drinks or breadsticks or another pizza.

It's not hard to go pick it up yourself, tho, as there's a pizza joint on like every other street corner :P

  • About 44 dollars for a large pizza where i live, it's the most expensive one though. 25 dollars is a really good price for us here.

  • Go to Rocco's Pizza in Oji Station. Best and biggest pizza's in Tokyo. 18" from ¥2,800.

  • japanese pizza is the best :)

  • you call japan expensive? we pay 15 euro's for a regular pizza with cheese and sausage wich is about 35 dollars, in the Netherlands T.T

  • This is totally true, just checked the japanese pizza hut website, and I decided to pick a pizza I thought would be very nice, I picked the "premium 4" pizza. Large size is 3280 yen or 42 dollars usd! YIKES!! ~.~

  • EAT A GODDAMN SLICE

  • "that's one of the reasons i wanna go back to the US" im sorry this video is awesome and very informative but that quote made me laugh so hard XD i really appreciate u sharing this with the world

  • Last time I checked, the pizza restaurants (Dominos and such) are mostly in areas full of gaijins in Japan. They are nonexistent otherwise. The expensive price has a lot to do with keeping their investments in check. So for example, in Japan, if any mom-and-pops pizza shops in the same area tries to foil the price-fixing scheme, the corporate lawyers (representing let's say Domino's) will make an excuse to shut the pizza shops down. So yes, restaurants like Domino's is pretty much robbing you.

  • @gaiachaos2000 Wow so Gaijin is a real word used to describe foreigners? damn i thought it was just in tokyo drift lol

  • @tevinm14 I lived in Japan for a while, so I got used to hearing the word gaijin and ended up using it as a loan-word in English.

  • @tevinm14 lived in northern Japan for 7 years and "gaijin" is typically seen as negative. "gaikokujin" was what i normally heard or Amerikajin. well for us U.S. peeps

  • yup thats true i never eat pizza here in japan!

  • In Panama, pizzas are just 8-14 US dollars. Though we only eat them for special occasions :P

  • In Germany a delivery pizza costs about 6 to 10 € which is up to 1.000 Yen. Thats ok i think

  • It's that expensive in my country as well D: shucks. That's why I'd rather make my own pizza :3

  • Now I want a pizza, but I can't have any because I already bought pizza this month. I used to place an order around 4-5 times a month because we have the $10 any size, any topping special at Pizza Hut. Dominos is more expensive then Pizza Hut (I think).

  • @NaeBryan671 in canada its the other way around... no one orders pizza hut because they chare up the ass for shitty pizza... 20 bucks for a XL pepperoni with 2 dipping sauce from pizza pizza... or like 30 bucks or more for the same thing from pizza hut.... this includes delivery...

  • Over 30 bucks for pizza? Damn, son...

  • funny thing is that americans are fed till they can barely walk while looking at foreigners, they are healthy!

  • pizza is from italy

  • pizza is only junk food when you get it from domino or pizza hut

  • You can get a medium-sized pizza for $5 at Little Caesars, here in Canada. :)

  • @cheesyflames Nope i wouldn't call it medium, I'd call it a personal pan size. Not too sure on how many inches that is though, But i always get my bang for my buck!! Gotta go with the DELUXXXX!! :D

  • BIG BEL 0574 - 28 - 8464

    minokamo-shi

    from friday to sunday 18h-23h

i am sure you will like best than japanese pizza

  • You should try brasilian pizzas made in japan like you can find in minokamo city, big bel pizzas, i bet you will love it

  • maybe in america is bigger and cheaper, but have you see what those industrial food in a large abondance do to people, it kill the health, you're lucky in a way that is so expensive and so smale, it make it less accessible

  • pizza is really expensive in Vietnam too. I think it's an Asian thing... expensive pizza. I couldn't careless for it when i travel back but my family go to an actual fancy shmancy restaurant for pizza... which taste ridiculous and the price was absolutely crazy.

  • THAT IS SO EXPENSIVE!!! My mom just buys frozen pizza and it is like 10 dollars for 1. . . . or was it 2. . . .

  • u should come back!

  • Pizza in italy, where it originated us bland, tasteless and a damm right chore to eat, its bcause its bin alter and injected with fatty foods thatyou dont get in. Normak meal is why its so commercial ove in the states...

  • hmm...I do Pizza to get rid of leftover Salami, cheese and Vegetables...so to make it myself is even more rentable^^

I measn, it is not so hard to do Pizza -.-

  • Really?! That's like a medium in Canada and a lot cheaper

  • WHY THE FUCKK WOULD U GET PIZZA IN JAPAN?!?!!??! I WOULD EAT SUSHI!

  • they should do this in america, it would completely change peoples eating habits if if cost 30 dollars for a cheeseburger and fries or other types of junk food.

  • While pizza tastes very good, it's very bad for you. I would suggest eating it maybe once a week at most.

  • @GeezusCometh its pretty much all vegestables and cheese. whats wrong with that?

  • @GeezusCometh yes if you get Americanized crap but if you get good authentic pizza made with proper Italian recipes it pretty ok for you ( you can eat it about 2 or 3 times a week)

  • Also, in Italy there aren't different sizes when you order a pizza (or it's very rare), but they are about the same size as the one in the video.

  • In Italy, if a margherita pizza costs more than 5€ (about $7) you can say it's expensive! The average price for the margherita is about 4€ I guess (at least here in Rome), but in Naples you can eat the best one for about 2€ or 2,5€ (about $3)

  • I should open up a cheap brick oven pizza shop in Japan.

  • OMG Seriously, those are the prices here in the Netherlands too.

Exact prices converted to US dollars:

Small: Starting at $12, up to $17

Medium: Starting at $20, up to $25

Large: Starting at $28, up to $50

I never buy or order pizza, because it's so expensive, not worth the money.

Also they charge converted $4.50 to bring the pizza's to your house.

I just eat pizzas from the supermarket, really good too and big enough. And best of all, worth the money.

  • God damn thats expensive! Do the Japaneese realize how cheap bread, cheese, and pepperoni is? LOLOLOLOLOL! Idiots.

I will never live in Japan i love pizza!

  • Lol a medium pizza up here in Vancouver, Canada is 5$ little caesars

  • Yes runny, Pizza is from Bella Italia (:

  • @21boxhead go healthy!

  • @21boxhead They're fucking smartasses.

  • @AlgebricDiddle should be like this everywhere cheap healthy food and expensive junk food

  • WHY SO EXPENSIVE QAQ

  • What if you buy from the grocery store?

  • make it yourself, don't be lazy, it'll be cheaper.

  • A normal pizza is about 12 dollars in Sweden, why is a pizza only 7 dollars in the USA when we live much much closer to Italy? Of course there is a difference between the original pizza and the american fat one...

  • were i live pizza only cost about 120 mexican pesos ( about 10 us dollars) AND IT'S bigger than that japanese pizza XD

  • The extra price for the pizza is decontamination charge from fukushima :D

  • geez! pizza down the block from were i live is about $1.50 a slice!

  • why dont you do it yourself?

is better than buying that crap of dominos pizza

  • OMG in singapore that would be like 50$(3000 Yen)!!

  • @AznDarknessMs this is expensive...

  • in my country, the smallest size pizza (pizza hut) is like 10 myr. around 3$ - 4$

  • @IssacSchneiderGin11 u're malaysian don't u??? ;)

  • @mightyKAPPA yes??

  • 0:34 That's what she said

  • @fivefinger100 lolololol

  • i once went to this tiny pizza place on some obscure street. The entrance way was tiny, and the cook there was this grumbly old man who didn't make much eye contact with you. I ordered a small pizza for $9 and i ate the whole thing all by myself and it was the best damn pizza i've ever had!!!! it was amazing!!!

  • Not only pizza is expensive over there

  • pizzas have levels?!?!? WTF?!?!?!?

  • sure looks yummy

  • GOOD GOD! im from southern Califfornia and my roommate bought and had delivered, two medium (same size as in the video), two topping pizzas with a one liter bottle of Dr Pepper last night from Dominos for $15.50 or ¥1,205.28 MAN! thats crazy!

  • You can order pizza in US with delivery to japan. I think that will be cheaper than order in japan :P

  • WHAT THE HECK! I pay 15 dollars for a pizza twice as big here in Norway.

  • Holy ****! O_O I can get 6 pizzas that size for that amount of money! ^w^; Guess not many Japanese people eat pizza very often, huh...

  • Why dont you make pizza yourself or is cheese hard to find in japan?

  • It is probably due to the ingredients used and cost of labor is different.

If you think about a normal pizza topping, it is fairly difficult to get in Japan, and Japan usually expect quality ingredients. There are other factors as well, but mainly it is the procurement cost of the ingredients and labor.

They don't exactly have giant slaughterhouses and farms for the ingredients. Also let's just say you won't secretly find illegal laborers getting paid half of the wages making your pizza.

  • I can show you how to make pizza much better than that for only a few dollars a Pizza. I can even show you how to make the Mozzerella cheese. My dough beats any resturaunt pizza Ive ever had. I do it the original way.

  • Oh Wow that is pretty expensive. I got to Little Caesar Pizza and get a large pepperoni pizza for $5.00 US dollar.

  • He wants to move to Us&A for the pizza. LoL btw everything in US is much bigger including the people. Twice or 3 times the size of a Jap Guy

  • at those prices i doubt they sell much pizza

  • Seriously, dude, how high were you in this vid?

  • 30$ for THAT ???? O_O

i guess its made with lobster meat and parmesan xD
