My father had a quadruple bypass two years ago and one of the side effects the doctors told us he might have is early onset Alzheimer's. Which thank goodness he didn't and today he's doing great but, any type of heart surgery comes with a wide range of side affects. The heart is the main organ of the body. Everything connects to it. Maybe the person just wanted attention but, I do want to point out in his defense that memory loss comes along with the territory of any surgery.
