No matter what, portal's soundtrack really.. GRABS you, it makes you think "Theres more then aperture that meets the eye." How big and vast it is, like black mesa, but smaller, how you are some test subject.
"How did I get here?"
"What am I doing here?"
"What can end all this?"
The music during the puzzles helps you think, and figure out, what is going on around here, it gives you space,
It calms you. And gives you peace of mind.
This is why portal is superior to portal 2 in music.
This song makes me feel like im lost. Not as powerfull as Self-Esteem fund, but it makes you feel as if your wondering through the unknown. Like you've taken a wrong turn and your far away from home.
Three slash four cup vegetable oil...Fiberglass surface resins and volatile malted milk impoundments. Don't forget One eighteen point two five ounce packaged chocolate cake mix.
yeah.. this and Self Esteem fund really give you that lonely feeling.. and that you're trapped in an unknown place.. like the Aperture Science Enrigment Center.. with nothing but white tiles and a little bit of blood on the wall that says:Help me...
I get some kind of Dark, Wicked feeling when I hear this and when GLaDOS says "Well done Android. The E.C. reminds you that Android Hell is a real place that you WILL be sent to at the first sign of defiance."
@Suikunkun7 "I wish the Aperture Science Center WAS real."
"Were" is plural where as "Aperture Science Center" is not. Its subject-verb disagreement. Study SAT questions and you will eventually begin to notice the same.
How are we aware if the Aperture Science Center is real or not? IT may be, therefore making "was" the obvious choice. However, I do concede that "were" sounds more appropriate in this circumstance.
@Suikunkun7 I also believe that both statements can be considered true depending on which dialect of English you are using and how the sentence structure is affected by the area in which you live. Neither has to be wrong.
Denotation of a word only defines what the word means where as connotation is what is derived from the user of said word's infliction and tone.
