I a lot happening in my life right now trying to get my shit together and get out on a nice rural piece of land. I am probably moving back to the west coast by the end of summer and beginning to search for that land. Being on the East coast and divided from real nature has been driving me nuts. Who knows though, maybe I could find a way to camp, would have to give you two a big hug each if I did : )

one more rant. sorry, but i'm really feeling this. i used to travel every summer to rainbow gatherings, which were once all about the vision of healing the earth and ourselves by coming together as a community of kindred spirits on the land. i loved that experience, that vision, but i also saw it degenerate, all too often, into a big mess that only the most dedicated people stayed behind to clean up after... and too, when i think about all the fossil fuel burnt to get to & from. makes me wonder

plus too, when you live on a govt check damningly called a "disability pension" (now please dont go condemning me for taking a bailout from the govt, i'd be homeless & pretty much fukked without it!) what little bucks you have pays to keep you in a place to sleep, and that's about it. ok i admit we splurge on an internet connection! that leaves us penniless for four out of five weeks of every month. sure we'd love to travel to create communty in illinois. but it's way beyond our means!

If we only listened to our internal voice and didn't mirror it against what everybody else 'tells' us to do. Take pharmaceutical drugs for example. They give you a "thousand pills for a thousand ills" and bandage it up as opposed to facing the 'issue' head on.
