  • Great job kden!

  • Hey man, I used your cover to help me on parts of mine, I have a lespaul so it dosent have a whammy though :\ I messed up on some parts, but I feel I made up for it by playing the 1st chorus with my tongue haha.

  • Brilliant!

  • you kick ass...

  • Awsome job man

  • ohh yeah!!!

    exelente Cover!!

  • your so good on bouth of the songs

  • What is the base tone? A minor?

  • How do you play the part that switches over at 6:38

  • awsome dude !!! :D

  • Good job

  • can you please make a tutorial? iv'e been dying to know how to play these two songs!! :D

  • @DaniGarciaMusic Is there a certain part you can't see how to play watching this video?

  • from my best of DL guitar book, it looks different the way you play the rhythm of the verse.

  • @krisaf778 I just play by ear so I wouldn't know. Does my way sound incorrect? That is quite possible.

  • @kdenn71 not really. its just i noticed it. the one in my book was different than the one from tabs i found online. i got the book at guitar center.

  • @krisaf778 Tabs are just someone elses interpretation of how it is played as well. I used to get tab books but stopped when I realized that many of them are incorrect and thus a headache. Youtube is a great place to get a good idea of how something is played and I hope that my channel offers that to people who study DL.

  • @kdenn71 ive found that most of the songs in my book are the same as the ones in many videos

  • @kdenn71 is that a 1959 Les Paul Standard?

  • Brotha! Can you do Foolin'?!

  • @bubbabragg Been thinking of that one and Rock of Ages for a while. I may get to it in the future.

  • YOU LOOK LIKE WOODY HARRELSON! thumbs up if you love this song and tthink he looks like woody harrelson

  • i have a book at home thats called "the best of Def Leppard" and it has this song in it. when i go back in gonna finish it. i still have a lot of it to do.

  • you think you could give me lessons?

  • @cooperboy13 Watch the videos and study what you can. If you have questions I will try to answer.

  • Thankyou for the reply, and I do agree ,and you sound great,I have played a few models and found the ones i liked were very pricey,2300 =+,just wondering if your model is expensive I like the color and have not found one in red until this video, and if you have any advise on ones to aviod would be great.

I have a jvm 410 very versitile amp withcel 30

    thanks rkrk1

  • Awsome playing, and sound,I want to buy a les paul but no nothing about them ,ie

what pickups does yours have, what model is it ,I have tried a few models but i really like the tone from yours,my musical tastes are wide and would like one that can sound good for hard rock and blues any suggestions

    Thanks

    rkrk1

  • @rkrk1504 In terms of a guitar that fits you I can just say that I look for a feel that a guitar has. How it sounds in my hands unplugged. Then I try to find an amp that fits that guitar. It is a very personal choice. Take the time you need to listen to each guitar and find what you like. I am flattered with your comment because much of the tone comes from a player not just the guitar. For example you can tell Slash or Jimmy Page or Eric Johnson and Steve Vai from their playing not just guitar.

  • That was fuckin awesome, played with feeling.

  • best def leppard covers on youtube!

  • @LetItRocK561 Thanks again. :-)

  • PERFECT!

  • @abimacharigue Thanks.

  • rock on brother!!

  • @likestojam :-)

  • Nice job nice to know someone loved White Lightning as much as I do I listen to this song back to back about 20 times <3 White Lightning thanks for the tribute

    RIP Steve "Steamin" Clark

  • @bustoutxxx That is a great song! This version is a little different though.

  • Good fuckin covers man. Love early 80's Def Leppard.

  • @mr18incher Thanks glad you like them.

  • awesome cover can u send me those tabs?

  • @mikeike32 Thanks! No tabs. It's all ear.

  • What are the differences between H and D, pyromania, and hysteria? did phil tell steve to turn the chorus up every year? lol nice job

  • @liljimi321 Production values. IMHO

  • 2 things 1. awesome playing!! and 2. cool guitar i want it!!

  • @krisaf778 2 things. 1. Thanks!!!! 2. You can't have my guitar. :-p

  • @kdenn71 yeah i know. but i want one like it. the gold pick ups on it are cool (they are pick ups right?)

  • @krisaf778 Yes they are.

  • @kdenn71 ok.

  • Awesome playing man.

  • do you consider "Bringin' On the Heartbreak" and "Swith 625" just one song?

  • @dmcbyvictor Not really. I just recorded it the way it is on the album. Well as close as I could at the time. :-p

  • @dmcbyvictor I actually think it is, because notice at the end of heartbreak it has that fast bass line then switch 625 comes in

  • Such a great jam, and the way it bleeds into switch...the song of my youth, and now the song of Friday nights in my garage with beers and friends

    Great playing!!

  • @dhegarty Thanks glad you liked it. Switch 625 is a very simple song but so easy to mess up. :-p

  • nice job

  • @cbarrett34 Thanks

  • Great Sound!!

  • @HRjunky Thank you!

  • DUDE, Your Beast man.

  • @TheUnicornslayer Thanks. Glad I'm not a unicorn. :-p

  • Man, I love this tune. Pete Willis also brought the right amount of crunch.

  • @206Bruce Yes he did. He had a very particular style.

  • Right on Kenyon! Man that was soulful ... great sound too (you should email me the manufacturer of the VSTs) - I know you are very technical so I bet you a LOT of work into that ... your Switch 625 was better than mine - I either wasn't fast enough or didn't know the notes. You nailed it bro ... love this album of songs!!

  • @jeffersononetwo Thanks Jeff. I liked playing. What does VST stand for?

  • @kdenn71 VST is actually a trademark of Steinberg Media Technologies in Germany ... is stands for 'Virtual Studio Technology' and is used with Cubase, Reaper, and many other sound recording software packages ... a VST can simulate a distortion pedal, or maybe a reverb or delay pedal and even Marshall amps and many other instruments. I have a couple of very nice free VST plugins for Reaper: a reverb & a compression - can really add depth to a recording & usually high quality sounds.

  • @jeffersononetwo Sounds nice. I am not that fancy at this point. Right now I just have my Korg PX3 and that's it. :-)

  • Dammit! I was gonna do this song next....hahaha. Ok, I'll probably do it anyway...but it's gonna be 90% identical to yours, it looks like we learned it the same way.

I love your channel....keep it up!!!

  • @Satyr1975 hahaha Hey there is enough Lepness to go around. I look forward to seeing yours so hurry up and get it posted. :-p

  • Amazing! Thanks for that new awesome cover!

  • @DefLepp627 Thanks man

  • What up Brother!! That was another awesome cover!! Hope all is well...Holler Back...Keep Rockin'...\m/ \m/
