  • Really cute I like these better than kinky twists

  • This helps me. I've never done my own hair with extension before but your tutorial makes me want to try. what are the other two brands of hair you use? Do you have a preference?

  • First of all this is a Great video

    You explain what to do very well. I love your twist they are beautiful.

    Thank you very much

  • These look really great. Is it always Right over left no mater what?

  • Where can u buy this type of hair ? I leave in Texas when I went to a hair store they act like they never heard of it lol

  • Love the way your hair came out. I wish I would have seen your video before I got my kinky twists a week ago, I hate them. I definitely want to try this, its amazing and you did a great job!!!

  • I Love your Hair!! Beautiful

  • you are amazing... and thats my song...God bless

  • this looks so good on you, how long did you keep them in?

  • Too cute... very natural look.

  • First if thank you, thank, thank you I had been try to twist my hair for months but I was going the wrong direction. The right over left was the key!!! Thanks :)

  • do you have to get them at that thickness or can i get them thicker

  • I love it

  • These are cute..U did a great job..what's the point of crossing them over when you are beginning the twist?

  • I really like your hair, it is very cute on you! Now i am going to attempt to do the same thing if my hair ever arrive!

  • how long did it take u

  • do you think these or kinky twists are a good style to get while on a natural hair journey? Because I kinda want to do a big cop and get my relaxed hair cut off and let my natural hair grow out and I don't really want to wear my natural hair until I'm maybe about 6 months natural. Btw- My natural hair/new growth is enough to grip.

  • lovely!

  • Theyre hott

  • nice...they have a loc vibe

  • I really like this style and it looks great on you! Thanx for the tutorial. Bless

  • Thanks for the tutorial!

    I now have another protective style for my fro :)

  • nice, thats exactly how i been tryin to get mine, but no one can do it, so next time im doin them myself..

  • They look great.!!!! i just started wearing kinky twist and you've inspired me to go for the nubian twist. please put up more videos of the twisted hairstyles. their beautiful

  • thanks

  • Luv the style. I look great. Thinking of using this as my protective style during the winter months.

  • CUTE!! The look professional

  • hey u look very pretty love the look!

  • This reminds me of what the ancient egyptians and nubians went through on a daily basis. Only an African can understand.

  • Is this harder with medium length straight hair.? It really looks good.!!! :)

  • That's cute :)

  • Thanks for the best nubian twist tutorial. I've ordered my hair form Nafy waiting for it to arrive here in Australia.

  • i love it! im so doing this once my extensions arrive!

  • @kingsmith1991::YES! and I hope they turn out well for you too:)

  • You can buy these hair from nafycollection,com

  • @newsurfer2011:::That's the same sight that I got my afro puffy hair from, and I really enjoyed how fast they shipped to me. I am gonna use the Nafy the next time too! Thanks for sharing :)

  • When I put nubian twists in I don't stretch the hair out. I unravel the twist and it comes out in 2 spiraled sections. I experience less "fuzzies" and the twists come out smoother. I also don't get the puffy ends and there is less trrimming involved. Just a thought that you might want to try the next time you try these out :)

  • @Cushenberry1224:::FOR REAL?!!! I will try that, its a really good tip. and THANK YOU! But, one question...does it make it hard to blend you own hair into the extension because its not separated?

  • @Toliahli Not at all you just have to make sure the twist hair is longer than your real hair. My hair blended in nicely and i have had no problems.

  • @Toliahli wat kind of hair did u use?

  • i luv them i really want sum

  • @shondapooh23:::awww thanks Shonda Pooh! I hope you get some

  • it helped a lot.Thank You for the great post

  • @joidavis:::Thank you Joi!

  • These are toooo cute... You did a great job... Luv your Videos

  • @SharonRV4:::yay! Thank very much , and Im glad u appreciate the vids!

  • Why they are not called "Black Americans twist" because the Nubians dont wear their hair like that. Hmmmmmm!

  • @MsCuriousCat:::Pahahaha...that is a GREAT point...lol

  • @MsCuriousCat:::and thank you for watching

  • @MsCuriousCat Because the styles (and other twisting and braiding styles) originated in parts of Africa, but not a lot of them do these styles anymore (unless for traditional events or in smaller rural areas where the tradition is still very well practised).

  • You did a great job! I love them! I am doing mine tomorrow!

  • @Apryle2009:::Thank you! I hope they turn out well :)

  • sORRY..TYPO..I MEANT I LIKE THE WAY YOUR VIDEO GAVE DIRECT INSTRUCTIONS

  • @DrMillicent:::Not a problem, I knew that's what you meant ;)

  • I have watched many videos on youtube...I live the way your video gave direct instructions, without all that music. You did an excellent tutorial!!!! Your hair looks lovely, it was a pleasure watching this. GREAT JOB!!!!

  • @DrMillicent:::Thank you very much DrMillicent! I wanted to be straight to the point without too many frills, and Im glad that you appreciated that too :) Thank you for watching

  • gosh I love your hair so much I had to watch again.

  • @oh770:::oh wow! thank you and Im glad you liked :)

  • good job!! you're prettii...and you look like my favorite lady Nia Long

  • @aliadaduncan:::Thank you SO much! and Nia is one of my Fav's as well...Thanks for the compliment :D

  • While twisting your hair,what product did you use?....GREAT JOB on your hair!!!!!!!!!

  • @mommasoldier:::I used Murray's Light Pomade, and a lil bit of gel on the ends. and Thank you very much!! :)

  • your eyebrows are FIERCE!!!!!!!

  • @sl65301:::Thank you!!! I believe that eyebrows are essential to framing the face :)

  • @tygrreyez1:::Thank you!

  • Very nice.... Where do I get this Nina brand? Online or in store?

  • @altheaadlien:::Thank you! and I found it in my local beauty supply in Michigan, at the time. but now they no longer carry it. So i would try online. But my honest advice is to try the Nafy Collection with the natural nubian twists or the EON brand spring twists I believe. they are of much better quality and easier on your fingers. and easier to find. I hope this helps you!

  • Very nice.... Where do I get this Nina brand?

  • Love it!!

  • @SueLocd:::Thank you!

  • Great vid and awsome job, but what is the purpose of the criss crossing of the hair

  • @Peppercord:::Thank you! and I cross the hair because it makes the hair easier to grip and install for me.

    you can install it without crossing, and just use a single loop. but when I tried that method it kept slipping.

  • HEY u have like this mixed look of Nia long and michelle from destiny childs...lol ...very beautiful love ur hair =)

  • @ooooGORGEOUSoooo:::Bahahaha! Thank you, I've never heard that one either. A mix of them both. tehehe

    Thank you for watching :)

  • You remind me of Michelle, Destinys Child ")

  • @diamond3187:::Really? wow, I've never heard that before. but It's cool with me, cause she is very stylish. tehehe. Thanks for watching!

  • This is great, I've been trying to get twists like this forever n now I know I have to get a different hair thank u

  • @Alana121291:::Im glad this video helped you! and thank you for watching :)

  • I think you did a great job! I'm about to try this on myself this weekend and like you I didn't have time for ordering hair either! So I just bought what was in my local beauty supply store!

  • @bmjm1974:::Thank you and I hope it turns out well for you! Please let me know, if you will :)

  • This is beautiful

  • @msreese324:::Thank you!!!

  • I love your hair, looks really good.

  • @barryjz1:::Thank you !!!

  • Looks awesome. Does this hair come longer?

  • @ACS402010::: Thank you. and no, this particular brand does not. but Eon has a longer version of this hair, and its a better quality too, from what I've researched

  • These are pretty

  • @BcPrettyGirly:::thank you :)

  • I love your hair and you're so pretty!

    You said you're in MI right?

    I cant find nubian twists hair ANYWHERE here!

  • @miszreese::: Awww, your words are soo kind! and yes I do, in the D.

    I found that hair by accident and wasn't sure if it was gonna work. But if you find some synthetic hair on a track that looks like a tight telephone cord...buy it!!! it will work. lol

  • @Toliahli Awesome me too! :) LOL I thought about the telephone cord thing too lol.. I be searchin! I only go to like 3 beauty supply stores tho.. the Lee's on Woodward in Highland Park, the Lee's in Northland and I found some random one on 7mile somewhere cant remember where but I might start trying more random ones because they seem to have the good stuff!

  • @miszreese:::GIRL, you gotta expand your searches. I go all over! lol. I found this hair in hamtramck! of all places.

    there are 2 good beauty supplies that may have it both are on the corners of 7 mile and wyoming. across the street from each other. they both sell ALL kinds of hair. isles and isles of it.

    let me know how it goes, and if I come across some. I will let you know

  • @Toliahli GIRLLLLLLLLLLLLL! Hamtramck is the sh....! I used to live in the beauty supply there lol

  • Great video. I had to share it with my blog readers to support you on The H&L Project.

    Check it out the site is: TheHLproject dott comm.

    Thank you The Lingerie Boss

  • Beautiful results! I love twists! Mine have less hang time, now that I cut off about 2 inches. I hope that I can find some of that hair in reds! I wonder if this style will work during the summer for my eldest dtr. Hmm....You've got me thinking!

  • @Zaharam2::: Thanks so much, Im glad that you like it. and I've seen this hair and other types in an auburn color, so It probably comes in red too! :)

  • @Toliahli Thanks, I'm going to look for it! Be Blessed!

  • ThanksToliahli. I appreciate it

  • Love this. You did an amazing job. Where did you get this hair. I cannot find it anywhere. Let me know. Looks beautiful.

  • @scracine1:::Thank you SOO much. I found this hair at my local beauty supply in michigan, and i ONLY bought it because it was on clearance. lol ($3.99/pack) used less than 2 packs.

    but No worries, because I WOULD not recommend this brand of hair, because it seems to shed.

    I plan to try these again, but with some different hair...

    I recommend (Natural Nubian Twist hair by Nafy Collection, nafyhaircollection.ecrater.com or (Nubian Spring Twist by EON, eonhair.com)

    I hope this helps you :)

  • Beautiful!! girl i love it hehehe ur hair looks awesome!! Now i kno wat i'm going to do with my hair when it grows out!!

  • @Esther201220:::Thank you soo much, I hope it works out well for u too :)

  • However, i looked at ur big chop video again, and u really rock the short hair!

  • @TheFoxx62:::Then you see my dilemma! Cause I loves it short like that. its just so cold here in MI. I wanted to see how long I can grow it out. but I want to cut it again. I'll decide for sure when the warmer weather arrives.
