if it's insulated it's going to be warmer than this has a pretty low R-value but is very nice to sleep on. Personally i prefer the prolite plus as it has insulation and is still pretty dam light.
Good review. You need to mention, for those who don't know, that this pad is not self-inflating; the backpacker has to blow it up himself. I always thought the pocket on the end of the ThermaRest stuff sacks was a handhold, but I think you have a great idea of putting the repair kit in it! Thanks for the good video!
The pocket on the end of the stuff sack is to make it easier to pull out the pad. You hold one hand on to the pocket and use the other hand to pull out the pad.
@Makichristian I think they also intend for it to be a self-storing pocket for the pouch while not in use. Just invert the pocket and tuck the stuff sack in.

Its not a pocket on the bottom, you will notice that when you pull the mat out you use it....so I would call it a handle :)
