  • El único detalle a mejorar en el generador me parece que es el cepillo inferior el cual no debe tocar la banda, de hecho ninguno de los cepillos debe tocar la banda nunca si quieres lograr un mejor rendimiento.

  • Energy sources without the need for fuel or energy input exist ,But the big oil corporations don't want that technology revealed,Get the blueprints for a free energy motor at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Let the revolution begin!

  • como descaerga este video.,.ya q no sale la direccion urls

  • Music tittle plz m8s.

  • If you use a grounding rod instead of your finger, you could potentially achieve better arcs in between the VDG generator and the rod. Either way, I really like your design for this one!

  • Look for stainless steel gazing balls, they're perfect for this. The sharp edge where the bowls join is bleeding most of your energy. Turn the lights out, you probably have a good plasma show on that edge. friedrichsacher is correct too. You have some serious potential there with a few tweaks.

  • good job

  • that was slightly pathetic... its like one of those giant magnets where you expect when you try pick up a 6 pk of cans or something, but it can barely achieve lifting a penny.

  • saw one that was about half the size but like 20 times more efficient

  • you dont like tool? TOOL OWNS!!!!

  • GET RID OF THE MUSIC PLEASE!

Nice video, but the music is annoying

  • @95285 I'm sure you're capable of muting your speakers if you aren't cool with tool.

  • what happens if you actually touch the surface?

  • @ScorgeRudess I don't think anything signifcant would change with this design. Still sick though.

  • Watch my one for example

  • try to feed the top roller IN the sphere so you can get more power

  • It's supposed to be Van "DE" Graff (but if you say it fast, it sounds like "Vandergraff"

  • can you please tell me exactly what materials you use, because i need to do one, if you want to tell me by msn only write it and i will give you my msn

  • Neat, I made one for a school project last year, but not as beefy as yours.

  • Your machine makes me cry. With the materials you're using that thing should knock you on your ass. Look at mine, it's crap compared to yours and I can get 5 inch sparks that are painful. Key principles: Combs DO NOT touch the belt and only have a few teeth. Top roller inside of your sphere. use electrical (non conductive) tape to seal the bowl. Please let me help you. You obviously have the money and tools to make one awesome van de graff generator.

  • what material is the band?

  • yea i ask that 2

  • I found that exercise stretching bands work best. something like theraband. Black rubbers tend to be slightly conductive. The trick is how to connect it in a loop.

  • if you use i black belt as you say. it mostly holds carbon and that lest get static electricity treu. (if i am right)

  • conductivity on the belt is bad. Sorry I didn't make that clear. Don't use black rubber.

  • yea and i am making it clearer don't use black rubber! srry i sayt you where right.

  • oops ronge account srry

  • Don't you know anything? Put the top roller in the terminal, just ask Faraday.

  • Eletricamente, qual a diferença entre o gerador de vandergraff e a bobina de tesla? Apenas a fonte da energia???

Electrically, what's the difference between a vandergraff generator and a tesla coil? Just the differents energy sources???

  • I suck at nameing the parts of the machine, so i hope u understand what i am trying to say. Question: I know the bottom part has a motor that is connected (by a rubber band) to the spinning part. What I want to know is taht does the top part spin too or it does not with the silk band? Thanks for responding.

  • There is a bottom and a top ROLLER that spin. The materials you make these rollers out of is important. One builds up a charge that attracts electrons from 'ground' onto the belt and the other repels the electrons off the belt and onto the sphere.

  • Electromagnetism? I thought van der graff generators were build up of static electricity?

  • Yes they are... O_o

  • ejale2

  • you look professional
