@ollierussell17: The reason why the player is standing at 3/4 distance is because it requires you to hit the ball much more precise and with feel to make it land inside the court than playing from the baseline. Second, when changing someone's technique, the player must be in the easiest situation possible so that he has no problems judging the ball. If I put the player in realistic situation, he will not be able to correct his technique.

terrible coaching for a start the kid is hitting balls in no mans land? his follow through is curved. and your just feeding the balls to his racket this WOULD NOT happen in a match
