I've done my fair share of recruit training in the 2SS/305ID and I'm very proud to say I've trained some of the best in my unit in historical tactics and higher levels of thought on the battlefield. This just seems like some sort of "I'm pointing your weapon for you and control of thought" nonsense. I don't see the appeal in anyone wanting to join the 29th other than they're the most populated. I guess the emotions flow with this one as this sort of training goes against my fiber of being.
They couldn´t even such an easy situation like taking down a jeep. Reminds me playing in a "Tactical" Arma 2 clan for 1 day. Requesting permission for take off at the airfield, adress clanmembers at their ranks, etc. And then we encountered a small enemy squad and everything went to hell, they even were too stupid to give me covering fire so i could pull 2 wounded members into cover.
I remember the 29th from back in 2008, when I was in a German Realism unit. They spent all of their time running drills like this, and never joined any of the campaigns which all the other realism units took part in (even though there was a lack of Allied units). When my unit finally did get them to do battle they caved in like a house of cards. Quite possibly the worst realism unit I've ever seen. Thanks for an insiders view.
@Puska35M All the scrimms the 29th have been in they have only ever lost one to the 2nd SS now either yur telling Porkys to make yurself look good....or you were in the 2nd SS which is it...and from wat i've read it was close...nonethless this BCT was not a good look and the majority of 29ths didnt like wat they saw regardless of weather this guy was Trolling or not...and changes were made people were talked to about it so the 29th does look at these issues...
@mav613003 No, I was in the 17.SS. The scrim was best out of three. We won two very easily, the third was a very good close fight, a 29th victory. It was a few years ago.

In the real military you would have to ask for permision to speak before you said anything, the 29th is a realism unit. If they had a sock full of soap im sure they'd beat you with it real-life and in-game
