  • you are great i

    love it

  • THANKYOU! This really helped! A friend of mine said I over pronounce my words..... and this video explained what i am doing wrong.....

I did EXATCLY what you said with togethe'R'. I would sing the R. If i dont sing with the R, then i have better pitch control and the vowels I sing sounds better!

Its going to take some time before I get used to it...... I still find it funny not singing some constantants at the end of some words...

  • I LOVE your voice :-)

  • Iam twenty four years old,I have always been told by people that I allow to hear me that I have a really strong voice but I never never had the confidence to take it to a professional level, this last year I have been looking at and studying all kinds to do with the human voice and had made a decision that before I go to find a local professional vocal coach I would teach my self all that I could... Your videos are by FAR the best I have seen, everything you say makes perfect sense. Thank you

  • Hi again, my prevoius channel got hacked so im thinking on how to set up this new channe ive got.Right now im just having the channel for looking at other singers and so on. In the near future though i will be putting out new videos and such.

  • @passionatesinger100 I FINALLY finished your vid. i hope it helps.

  • Thanks for the suggestion. i have this topic in my performance lesson plans. i'll cover it in the next coming weeks.

  • OKay first of all i think you make very helpful videos and you seem to really know what your talking about.Heres some questions im hoping you can make a video about

I just love to sing many songs in different genres. If you have heard about Brett manning it seems like hes method allows that. What do you think of it.

    My most important question is.

Am i suppose to sing like i speak? And how do you i do so?Like how do i keep the character of my own voice, make it sound my own.

    Thanks:)

  • @passionatesinger100 i can't get to it right away, but it is already planned. i'm doing the easiest vids first, while preparing for an audition. you should see it by the end of next month. where is your channel?

  • good.....

  • thanks for sharing your talent it help me :)

  • u didn't explain why we should omit the r .

  • you look pretty, tanks for the tips!

  • Wonderful. So helpful for beginners...will definitely use this lesson.

  • When singing 'r's, I perform it the way you demontrated performing the 's', using your example of extending the vowel, then placing the consonant at the end for one beat. That works for me.

The only time I extend the consonant is for 'm's & 'n's.

  • OMG girl when you sang i as like hot damn i need to sing like that! Do you have any pointers for my singing? its be nice if you can take a look at one of my vids.

  • i think i have seen a picture of you on the bus here in chicago. its yoru profile picture if i am not mistaken.

  • i doubt it. i've never modeled.
