Coraline is directed by Henry Selick as also Nightmare Before Christmas, the idea and concept of Jack and characters are from Burton but the director and i belive genie creative is Selick.

So, when it says "From the director of the Nightmare Before Christmas", it's actually referring to Henry Selick. Personally, I think the anime of Akira is dissapointing. The Manga of Akira is so much better. It has a long story, but is very good.

As for 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later, they are not Zombie Movies whatsoever, they are people that are still alive but highly infected with the Rage Virus which physically makes them look frightening and mentally makes them completely out of control and highly infectous to other people. They are just as vulnerable and easily killed as a normal well person.

Hey Pete sinced you're really into horror/ sci-fi you should check out "Pan's Labyrinth" if you've never seen it before. A film by Guillermo Del Toro, i found it to be very good. It's sort of a demonic fairy tale. Highly remcommend it :)

George Romero rules all when it comes to zombie flicks, You need Land of the Dead, the Narnia Books are an easy read and I recommend, each book gets progressively darker, but still awesome, if you love Miyazaki you need Nausicaa, I love the noize the character makes, well before he gets defeathered
