  • the thing that gets me is ginger always had to do these routines in heels bravo

  • Who was his favorite dancer to work with? does anyone know? The subtleties of their hands and hip movements at about 25 seconds looks hard enough to get spot on in sync with eachother.

  • @jenbunny00 actually it was about 20 sec to 23 sec they kind of slowed it down & did that jazz hand type of thing...still whatever it is it looks hard to say the very least.

  • Still my favourite tap routine ever! They make it look so easy...I understand about having to move with it....once it gets in your system, it never leaves!

  • does anyone know the song?

  • merveilleux ,,, je vais commencer a m'excercer ,,,!!!

  • My favorite part happens @ 0:08

  • quelqu'un a remarqué la boule d'énergie dans la main de ginger à 1:11

  • quel talent de nous faire croire que c'est simple alors que c'est tout le contraire

    c'est un immense duo

  • Wow! She was 37 , and he, 49, in 1949, when this was made. All I have to say is, that this was a some technical workout...and Ginger, as in the 30s, was more than up to it. I read that Fred was very happy with her performance here. It's alive, complex, and super rhythmic. Tony Bennett said that Fred, his neighbor, once told him, that whenever he heard rhythm he couldn't help himself. He "just had to move with it." Check it out!

  • This video has such good quality. :) I love Ginger's facial expressions throughout the whole dance!

  • fantastic

  • Fred also went into Dramatic Genre. Was in a fine movie "On the Beach" A fine thought provoking movie.

As an old ball room dance teacher I have to say "That's Dancin!!".

Not as athletic as you see today but more musical.

  • Fred and Ginger were/are the best. I noticed the deep back bends she did in the earlier black and white movies were not done in their only Tecnicollor movie," Barkleys of Broadway". understand she was phenom.agile and could do those early in her career and probably later but resisted. Does not take away from the fun, grace, romance of B. of B. She did not want to be known as just a song and dance girl and went on to more dramatic parts. Won Academy Award for Kitty Foyle.

  • I'm trying to but can't seem to post Wonderif post is too long.

  • SPEECHLESS.

  • This is pure perfection <3
