i dont hate it but its not finished though sp1 has fixed a majority of my problems the main one being the speed on single core machines

i bought my laptop and the people who sold it to me upgraded it with windows vista home basic,it says my time has expired and i cant get into my computer,i need to put in a product key but the one under mine is invalid? do i need to get the key # from the windows upgrade?

Get a Windows XP CD, install Windows XP, make shure that it is valid, return the Vista CD to the retailer, and report it to Microsoft. You were given a Pirated version of Windows with a fake product key. Just use XP. It only nags, but will boot into safe mode eventually.

actually, I like vista Ultimate. the only problem is boot time, but i'm not complaining. I like XP as well. I tried out Leopard at a store, and it wuz pretty crappy (but i think their demo computer wuz pretty slow!) It looked pretty nice. Heard it had a bunch of problems tho. However, i really like how ubuntu looks ;) you can get it to work like windows or a mac, and it has a bunch of eye candy as well! yay!
