Of course there's going to be many different arguments about the last question. Some might say that Regis did go a little bit too far in trying to talk Norm out of going for it, even with the amount at stake. But Norm really did act like he really did intend to give a final answer.
How they should have handled the situation is that Norm should have been brought back on the show directly after and given a new $1 million question.
