I must have dropped my iPhone about 15-20 times since I got it. It did get tiny smash marks on the top and bottom left and right of the phone, for obvious reasons. But so far no other damage than that. I dunno if I'm just that damn lucky, or if the phone is just that well designed. Hopefully for all of us, the second one.

I don't use a case for my iPhone =D Since the front and back glass panels are comparable in durability to sapphire, they're incredibly resistant to scratches. You can never anticipate dropping your phone, but I trust myself enough to know I won't. I've owned 4 phones and haven't dropped one yet even once. If you're careful like me, go naked! The iPhone can handle it.
