  • "I really wantd to cut ya,but thisll do!"

  • ahaaa vv "AINT NO SANGA"

  • It isn't just about lyrics when your rapping some rappers are great at conveying situations others are great at putting words together and some are great at just making people dance like all of those topics of rap are seen great and needed by people there isn't one way to rap. What made pac great was how he connected with people through music he had the ability to make people feel what he was feeling. You can't say he wasn't lyrical because he was his craft was deep and poetic.

  • slick is MY storyteller

  • Classic

  • \m/

  • Me personally I enjoy all of them. I could care less about whose better than who. 95% of the music I listen to is 90's hip hop. Brings back alot of memories and those mentioned before are all great in their own right. I even starting to listen to some Sam Cooke , Temptations, Marvin Gaye, etc. That crap thats out now is crazy.

  • Come on... lets just enjoy the music. They all brought great attributes to the rap game. For instance 2Pac is considered to be one of the best because of his ability to relate to his listeners and using his words to paint pictures that everyone recognizes. Outkast brought attention to ATL and the south when the music scene was mostly dominated by west/east coast hip hop and when the south was mostly known for booty shake music. Nas has lyrical content and proves hip hop is still alive.

  • Oh, and underground dudes like Immortal Technique, Canibus, Jedi Mind Tricks are overrated as shit.

  • Did this dude below me just say Tupac was better than Big L and Ghostface? Pac wasn't fucking with either of them lyrically. 1. Andre 3000 2. Mos Def 3. Nas 4. Black Thought 5. Biggie 6. MF Doom 7. Ghostface Killah 8. Jay-Z 9. Big L 10. Eminem 11. GZA 12. Common 13. Talib Kweli I've never really listened to Rakim, so I won't make any judgements there.Jay Electronica, Elzhi, Kendrick Lamar, Blu, and pre-Lasers Lupe (he's awful now) are great too.
  • This nigga fuckin retarted. Tupac paved the road for hip hop.

  • @breebree551 you're a fool.

  • smh how can u compare Tupac and Biggie to Outkast? Smh They all great hip hop artists with the unique and HAWT hooks

  • DEF.one of my all time favorites...Oh my goodness...Im speechless..

  • If Andre 3000 was as cocky in Hollywood as some of these other weak ass rappers, he could EASILY claim to be the best rapper alive. I love him because he knows he is great and when you are great, you don't have to claim a title like "the best rapper alive", or "king" because your TRUE FANS will do that for you! No one is fuckin with Andre 3 stacks...get all that weak shit out of here!

  • Lmfao!....Eminem isn't the best rapper ever..so please stop with the bullshit...and He sure doesn't beat Outkast........Know Your History On Rap..Before You Try To Talk. Please and Thank You. (:

  • oh fuck slick rick

  • I don't remember slick rick being on this track. This version was on Aquemini?

  • @trick29420

    no, on the video

  • Man....so many good times fly through my mind when I hear this.... WHERE DID THE TIME GO? Shit.... Why do songs take you right back to times...

  • If they played music like this in clubs id go out more often

  • Hell yeah! Slick rick!

  • Hell Yeah Slick Rick..

  • rap at its finest, proud to say i mimic these dudes from time to time

    Ben Fame Freestyle

  • Rappers like Smalls an Outkast both have really good story raps. that kinda quality in hip hop today is almost impossible to come across.

  • TOP 10 IN BEST SONGS ALL TIME MAYBE?

  • @G0FlyAKite1 I'm with you on this!

  • Great New Hip Hop/Rap Song CB - GameTime Produced By: Dante' B

  • andre 3000 rip the shit out this track.

  • CLASSIC

  • lol sick my duck

  • @Bartmillz haha yea this is the ol days we used to jus chill everyone all about drama these days fuck lets jus chill!!

  • @elfuuuaaa915 'Real Hip Hop' per se isn't mainstream, but it is out there and i still dont think it's dead. and lol i am british...sorry baggy 'pants'.

  • @MrCommenterguy Maybe your right and I need to look a little harder for good music but if you grew up with the music I heard the standard was set pretty high. Anyways good chatting with you and I hope you guys in England have more artists than MIA Peace

  • @elfuuuaaa915 don't reply to 'japanchester123', that's my old account i don#t normally use it. reply to this account please.

  • @MrCommenterguy Your missing the point guy forget about the image thing You cant tell me the lyricism is the same as it when rappers were still hungry Or even the competition you say, record labels are only looking now for what they can sell to middle class teens with parents money to spend If they have to choose between what can be the next fad or some guy with actual skills you know who they'll pick. By the way baggy "trousers" are you British? If you are dont worry its OK :)

  • @elfuuuaaa915 Stop trying to put conventions on what's supposed to be a controversial genre. Baggy trousers, hoodies and doo rags was part of the gangsta rap era- but look before then. What was Run DMC wearing? Grandmaster Melle Mel and Grandmaster Flash? Hell, look at Big Boi in this very video, what does 3000 normally sport? Lyricism and competition will always be the soul of rap, everything else will change with fashion and time, like they're supposed to. Hip Hop is about keeping relevant.

  • Outkast has scrapped better rhymes than new hip hop puts out.

  • @elfuuuaaa915 jay electronica, lupe fiasco, j cole, elzhi, childish gambino, kendrick lamar, blackstar reuniting, nas and common still going strong, wu tang still going strong...sorry what were you saying about the soulja boy dance? ignorant fool- hip hop is forever. you insulting the other dude by saying he wears tight jeans shows me what yo u really think hip hop is about- a certain image doesnt make you 'real hip hop'.

  • @MrCommenterguy Guy if you still think rap is the same as it was in the 90s then you must've been born in the 90s.. that music is dead. And as far as the image why dont rappers just dye their hair green and wear eyeliner or nail polish, of course image is important maybe not a huge part of hip hop but you cant deny its part of the soul of rap. Once you lose that then its a whole new genre Again Tru Rap R.I.P.

  • Best artist to come out of the south.

  • best hip hop song i've heard in my life... so far

  • who disliked this shit here...what the hellz wrong with you...u probably like ying yang twins n solja boy

  • Rap 1978-2003 R.I.P You will be mised

  • @elfuuuaaa915 just because you dont wanna find the good music thats out now doesnt mean that rap/hip hop is dead faggot

  • @onedeepforlife11 Man shut and go practice the new Soulja Boy dance And remember when you buy your skinny jeans dont buy them too tight or your balls might fall off moron

  • We need tha ole dre back ya heerd

  • this reminds of a Curren$y Song

  • @d0peboimagic2 he used this instrumental on "all from yo bitch"

  • Trippy beat

  • NOW THIS IS HIPHOP DIRTY SOUTH,CLASSIC

  • youtube.com/user/CNCRFCS

    oldskool hiphop, r&b, funk

  • Iam from new york i got high to this song alot

  • the people dat didnt like this dont kno real rap

  • Comment removed

  • Can We petition to get this Andre 3000 back ?

  • @NewWorldRob we dont need any andre back he does what he does and its all good hey ya was the best shit that shoulda came out in 2015 they was always ahead of thier time!

  • @jeaze85 ;-) was sup. I agree 50 pct. They have been ahead of their time, outkast. But I disagree strongly about the "hey ya" remark. I think his changed-up was staged that way. To make anything classic standout as just that. Like if MJ always looked and sang like 1983...the legacy was be dwarfed down kind of. One must change, or the world never appreciates the past for its unique greatness. I agree in that sense. Have a nice weekend jeaze.

  • @jeaze85 outkast has a new album coming out next year anyway..

  • @jeaze85 thats not hip hop tho, Andre aint no sanga!!! he's an mc, thats all i can respect him as and he's the best at it...hey ya doesnt represent Andre and it doesnt represent outkast cause it doesnt represent the dirty south!

  • @JoyJoyforeverr ghettomusick

  • got dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • NO COMMENT DRE.

  • aww man when that beat hit ya u can feel that real shit yo i fucking miss this kind of music here wish it was still like this

  • their did sooooo much 4 hip-hop

  • yesssssss this is so good

  • Ice melting in Chicago....1998. Memories. If you from the south or the Midwest you can feel this more than anyone. God Bless each and every one of yall.

  • slick rick nailed it.

  • slick rick voice sounds sooo cool with this beat

  • sasha motherfucking thumper!

  • i think lil wayne is the best story teller, cause people actually believin his ass xD

  • @April20thFourTwenty i get it

  • one of my favorite songs ever..this song, ever since it came out, always gives me nostalgia of all my past girls, flings, summers......

  • remember when rap was good? hahaha rap now is like... wait is there even anymore rap? haha

  • i love this song takes me back to when i was 15 getting high of this joint...

  • @LaBabyDePhilly you da bomb.. haha

  • @christophergoking thanks ;)

  • Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, and Eminem ain't got nothing on this.....

  • @BavariasFinest um eminem is like the best rapper ever.. so accept it and stop crying

  • @HotNicklez88 - First and foremost Eminem is one person, Outkast is a group, but I'd still take Andre3000 or Big Boi over him. They revolutionized music with coupling rap with rock, and jazz. Eminem is merely an angry white person in a black man's world that got respect, so people like yourself praise him as a hero. While his songs are entertaining, they don't hold a candle to Outkast. You also lose all credibility placing him above Nas, 2Pac, and Biggie.

  • @BavariasFinest Eminem is not close to Andre 3000, Big Boi, Biggie or Nas, but when you talk about abilities as an MC, he's easily better than Tupac.

  • @spxeli lol your obviously trippin balls. Eminem is nowhere near 2pac. what did you smoke before you typed that? Eminem is for 11 year olds and teanagers, if your a grown man talking about Eminem being better than 2pac, your just way behind maturity-wise.

  • @Aesop70 Eminem is for young white people who like to claim he's the greatest of all time, Tupac is for ignorant people who think because they listen to Pac they're real hip hop fans. What has Tupac done lyrically close to Stan? Or The Marshall Mathers LP as a whole? Was Tupac a great MC like Eminem WAS? NO.

  • @spxeli Ya sure Eminem says some clever little shit, but you cant really take him serious. The way Eminem sounds, even when he is serious is just not serious. Plus there are such things as bad Eminem songs, name one single 2pac song that has ever been bad, and see how many ppl agree with you lol. Bottom line is 2pac was at a whole other level, and Eminem just doesnt compare. im sorry, but if you argue, your just wrong. Even statistically, your wrong.

  • @spxeli Another thing is, i listen to Underground Hip Hop, because its ALL real, nobody tells them what to say. Eminem used to be my favorite back when i was, yes a TEENAGER. once i grew i realized his shit sucks now. The only Eminem i will listen to, and the Eminem that would wreck today's Eminem is the Eminem from the infinite album, he will never ever be as good as he used to be. Anyone who says Em is better than 2pac is obviously delusional. End of story lol

  • @Aesop70 Eminem is completely terrible, but Tupac was never dope. And not all Underground rap is good.

  • @spxeli lol im not arguing anymore man, 2pac was dope from day 1, idk what exactly you call dope O.o but Pac is always dope, and deep.

  • @Aesop70 what makes Tupac dope and not Eminem? is Tupac better than Eminem lyrically? just answer that.

  • @spxeli Here is your misconception, Your saying Eminem is better lyrically. What you dont understand is Eminem has to sound good, and have a lot of lyrical tricks in his music, while 2pac just speaks words. Picture Eminem as being flashy, and 2pac as being straight up and real. Has Eminem ever made a song that comes close to "Changes" or "Keep your Head Up?" Never in his life. What about "Brenda's Got a Baby?" Never. Even Eminem would not dare say hes better than 2pac.

  • @Aesop70 What was so impressive about Changes or Keep Your Head Up? Tupac is greater than Eminem because he was real? Was he more real than André 3000? Black Thought? Mos Def? Nope. He looks like a fucking scrub next to those three. Call me when you can think of something in Tupac's mediocre discography that can compete with The Marshall Mathers LP or the song Stan in particular, because until then it's your logic that is severely flawed.

  • @spxeli lol im not arguing with you anymore man, this shit isnt that important to me, 2pac is better, end of story, done deal, im going to to my underground hip hop, peace the fuck out sonny boy

  • @Aesop70 kk man. keep dividing hip hop music like you're actually doing the culture a favor.. peace and love.

oh and ps- Andre 3000 and Big Boi >>>>>> Tupac.

  • @spxeli I agree with all your points tbh. Stanning for Tupac has had a negative affect on hip hop, which is shown by statements the other guy made like Tupac is a technically better MC than Eminem and that he would destroy him in a battle. Just out of interest, what do you think of Biggie? I actually think he is one of the greatest most skilled MCs ever, but people tend to hate on him and say he wasn't that great lyrically. Do you agree with that?

  • @spxeli Only one person is better than Tupac, And that is Nas,.

  • @UnpredictabIy Get off Tupac's dick.

You're on an Outkast video. 3k and Big Boi are both much better than Tupac.

So is Nas, Black Thought, Black Dante, Rakim, R.A., L, Pun, Biggie, Q-Tip, Common, Ghostface Killah, Prime Eminem and many many more. Stop lauding Tupac like he's the be all, end all. He was a little above average at best.

  • @spxeli Out of that list.... Nas is the only one better than Pac. I'd put Kim, Biggie, Common in close running but as for some of the other names you dropped like Big L for example who had 2 decent albums... that is completely ludicrous. Prime Eminem? What does that even mean? You judge an artist on ALL of their work. QTip... No. GFK... No Lol.. I'm done ranting you are completely not all there when it comes to hip hop knowledge..

  • @UnpredictabIy You know nothing about hip hop. Tupac was an above average MC. If you're going to say I'm wrong then elaborate. Tupac never dropped anything like Aquemini. Black Thought is a top ten of all-time. I think most people would agree.

What is it about Tupac that's better than 3k, BB, Black Thought, Mos Def? Is it him as an MC? Obviously not. So what am I and all other real hip hop fans missing?

  • @spxeli Tupac was the heart and soul of HIP HOP you ignorant fuck.. Tupac lacked the best lyrics, but made up for it with his HEART.

  • @UnpredictabIy Typical Tupac stan, "It doesn't matter that he wasn't a great MC, he had heart!". Well anyways, I'm going to continue to listen to great rap music. Have fun with Tupac.

  • @spxeli Not true... I have heard every Eminem and Pac album.... Pac is the 2nd best of all time behind Nas. Eminem is maybe top 5... Andre and Most Def, not even top 10.. You are seriously unintelligent or at least ignorant to what rap music really is.

  • @UnpredictabIy Nas didn't stay on top for long though you gotta admit. Illmatic is not only nas in his prime, it's hip hop in its prime.

  • @spxeli So your argument is just completely flawed. If Eminem was to rap about what he raps about, but to do it by simply speaking, he would be bad. And that is my point, Eminem has to always make sure to shroud his lyrics with little tricks and silly voices. 2pac was real and was able to blow your mind with his words and with the way he spoke. No gimmicks, just his words. 2pac was revolutionary and out to change the world, Eminem simply doesnt.

  • @spxeli If you don't understand by now then idk what else to say to you lol im not being Bias, im simply stating the way it is, and statistics are there to back it up. Eminem has some clever little things in his songs, but 2pac had an entire depth to ALL his music as a whole, not even just songs individually. 2pac would simply destroy Eminem. If 2pac was still around (aswell as biggie) Eminem would not be overrated like he is. Good chatting, go listen to some Atmosphere, fuck mainstream.

  • @Aesop70 You're a fucking idiot. Tupac WAS mainstream. So is Outkast. So what the fuck are you talking about? It's people like you that bring hip hop down.

And by the way, Tupac would no murder Eminem. Ever. I don't care if you're a fan of Eminem or not (I'm not), but to say Tupac is a better MC is just fucking ridiculous. You lose all credibility on that.

  • @spxeli TUPAC IS A BETTER MC THAN EMINEM. U GUYS KNOW NOTHING.. LOL and I'VE ACTUALLY HEARD ALL OF EMINEM AND TUPACS ALBUMS... Nas is better than all anyway so it doesn't matter!

  • @gngarcia1983... I told you man this shit brings back memories lol and i bet it would be a good song to high to but i dont smoke so i wouldnt know haha

  • try it bro

  • @gnarnivore naw man i play to many sports plus they do random drug tests haha i cant afford to get caught

  • @gnarnivore naw man i play to many sports plus they do random drug tests haha i cant afford to get caught haha

  • aquemini is better and feels more ambitious to me, but all their albums have been great so im not complaining!

  • listening to this just brings back the good times man and i almost cried ... The good ol days when HIp-Hop was REAL

  • @atlienhero Aquemini without a doubt

  • Gun to my head, I think I go ATLiens. But lucky for me, I can listen to them both as much as I want

  • @atlienhero , I have struggles with this many times but I have to say Aquemini is better by a small margin!

  • best album cover i've ever seen....and andre 3k killed it

  • OUTKAST ICONS!

  • OUTKAST RULES/ HAIL

  • so he has to dress like a punk to get respect instead of runnin his own style. Thats why rap sucks today cuz everyone wants to be like everyone else.

In the words of People Under the Stairs

"Every man sound like another look alike in the street,, and that's bad ain't nothing to brag and boast about."

  • Im sure he cares. That comment is probably on his mind every time he decides what hes going to spend his next million on. Hater.

  • you dont watch music you listen to it, so andre can do what he want i would listen to outkast even if he would paint his hair pink and wear skirts =)

  • forever an outkast fan! this real music.

  • reminds me of middle school! it was full of jews and armenians! me and my homies were the only bunch that bumped this shit!

  • Shit i grew up in GA and SC...everyone bumped this shit....respect the dirty

  • Yo I take it for what it is. Kast was at their prime around this time and had to lay it down eventually like any great . For me Outkast was something that shaped me as a man and the rest of my musical taste. "Rap today can not compare to Outkast in their prime" I wish i could go back in time to get the feeling i had when I first heard Rosa parks. Man...

  • yo 3k verse is deep as fuck

The imagery from Andre is unreal, I can actually see him lookin sasha in the eye and seeing something mindblowing........sounds to me what hip-hop was meant to be in the first place, damn those who robbed us of such a unique artform. Peace to Real Hip-Hop

  • i feel u on his verse its one of the best pieces of writing ive ever heard...EVER!! and its so short yet it resonates with me so deeply i can NEVER forget that verse! but hip hop aint dead cuz outkast n wu tang and others are forever... plus this beat goes PERFECTLY with his verse

  • another classic from one of the greatest rap groups of all time

  • i like outkast's old songs better than their newer songs

  • @nlvgirl Well Outkast started making music for white people.

  • @mymarkis666 not white ppl...it was for the mainstream...very big differance.

  • @MrMayhem3k White people = Mainstream.

  • @mymarkis666 yea..cuz black ppl don't listen to mainstream :l

  • @MrMayhem3k Some do, but you're only fooling yourself if you're trying to say that Mainstream doesn't mean for white people. It's watered down Hip Hop for white audiences.

  • @MrMayhem3k i agree with mr. mayhem. im a white guy and ive told all my black friends about outkasts raw shit. they just listen to fuckin lil wayne and gucci mane and oj. i wish if i was fucking retarded i could make a album and get millions just saying AYE AYE OKAY! outkast is tha shit. andre 3 stacks + big boi = if jesus was a duo . btw slick rick is sick in this

  • @MrMayhem3k I LISTEN TO MAINSTREAM HIP HOP IN PASSING. IF A SONG IS ON THE RADIO OR TV OR IN THE BACKGROUND OR WHATEVER, BUT U WONT CATCH ME SPENDING MONEY ON NO 50 CENT OR FLO-RIDA MUSIC LOL
