Elizabeth looks like Britney Murphy here. Leah was obviously the standout in this group. She hit the hell out of that run "my man and me..." Love this clip.
@GospelAccording2ME I would have to disagree. As a group, the harmony was discordant in some areas. However, as individuals part of the group, their performances were really good.
I actually preferred Dina, Elizabeth, then Leah last. Nevertheless, there were probably one of the best groups as a whole that audition day.
@Elijah4Everr Yes, there were some moments when the harmony was off, but I think that can be attributed to limited rehearsal time. Also, I'm sure none of the young ladies had much experience in arranging or voice leading, so they probably just sang what they thought sounded good in the moment. I think that Leah was the standout vocalist. If I'm correct, I think she also went much further in the competition than the other ladies.
@Elijah4Everr She do go much further. I'm pretty sure she was in the top 12, but got eliminated either 1st or 2nd. I think LeTendre would've gone further if she was in the top 12 too.
I'm not hating. Leah's part fit more with the "tone" and way the song is supposed to be sung anyway. However, I don't think she had the strongest vocals in that group. This was evidenced by her performances in the top 12, especially when she butchered "Son of a Preacher Man."

Agreed D Boy Nasty. They sound crappy and not in harmony when they sing as a group. It's absolutely terrible as a group, haha.
