I disagree that Fuji's super intelligent flash is BS. Have your ever used a Fuji compact? I'm waiting for the F80 in the mail it replaces my aging F20, which has this flash feature. The F20 truly handles flash capabilities better than any other compact I've used. It throttles down the flash so it doesn't blow out closer-in objects, balances it perfectly with existing light. Great feature - not BS. It's 1 of the reasons I stick with Fuji for compacts (NIkon for DSLRs).
