  • Oh My God. Lea Salonga my childhood crush. I think I'm 2 years older than her. I was hoping I will meet her when I grow up. But then she started going out with Aga Mulach so I said to hell with her. Now I heard she is shooting movies with Agah again. Damn her husband must keep an eye, there's something between these two.

  • @leonquago Really? Oh my goodness, that is just so scary. Ok, I will keep an eye on her

  • @leonquago Shut up guys! Come on THIS IS SHOWBIZ! There is nothing between Lea and Aga! Lea is just comfortable being Aga as her partner!

  • @smallsis222 Oh man, I can see it in her eyes. When a man put a sparkle like that on a woman's eyes, there is definitely something cooking inside her heart. Aga at that time was drowning in his own popularity plus the thrill from the likes of Janice de Belen, Aiko etc. He failed to listen to his true heart beat. Aga and Lea, that makes me jealous but hell yeah, they are a good match.

  • two thumbs up! she is still that little sweet voice we use to see and hear.

  • Thumbs up if you found this song through Coca Cola!

  • I sure remember the song in my childhood. In the mid 90s, we went to see a Miss Saigon play but that night Ms. Lea Salonga was off and was replaced by another equally good singer. The album we got after the show was of course Lea's. This song, I'D LIKE TO TEACH THE WORD TO SING is from angelic voice as in Miss Saigon.

  • The night we had MIss Saigon ickets, Lea was off, she had a replacement and we missed her performance. That was in the mid 90s. This song is from an angelic voice the same as in the Miss Saigon album.

  • im going to the 7th grade and i love this song we have to sing it in chourus

  • i remember this song when i was young.

  • A WE SO ME AWESOME THANK YOU ~ SUNSHINE SMILES :) HAPPY 4TH :) LOVE & LIGHT

  • beautiful

  • This lea cd, I'd like to teach the world to sing is now available in ebay. I just bought one.

  • this is very catchy

  • Reminds me of Hart to Hart

Because when Lea and this song met it was moider!

  • see mrs brooks i can comment good vid

  • 292x1 the trick is to start with yourself. World peace would be a wonderful thing.

  • Why do people always have to start to talk about politics or whatever in the comments of videos like this, just stfu we don't want to hear it...

  • Teach the world to sing in perfect harmony? Tell that to 2Billion Chinese and all the Islams of the world. Never happen. Nice tune

  • Actually I think the world is pretty much in harmony. At least 99% are. Glad kids then and still can dream.

  • Disagree. Strongly. But dreaming? Music like 'I have a Dream" from Les Miserables has great lyrics...and the speech by MLKing of "I have a dream" is memorable.

  • My generation is defined by the cold war, Vietnam, and poor relations with China. Spent my time under my desk in case the USSR tossed a nuke my way.

My dad had Hitler and Mussolini, Korea. Enemies were countries like Germany, Italy, Japan and later in China.

My granddad fought the great war. A whole generation lost while England, France and Germany punched it out.

So we get a plane crash or two a decade ago and we think this compares to the evil of the 20th century?

  • Much the same as you. I remember the Cold War. Spent two years in England in the late 60's spying for USAF/NSA. Cousins were in WWII and Korea and in Vietnam. I too hardly think the WTC disaster compares to Omaha and Utah beaches. Or the landings in the Pacific or the gas chambers of Germany. Dream of peace? Okay with me...however I'm from the old school. I contend there is no peace until your enemies are so beaten to a pulp they can not ever again wage war. A dream unlikely to be reality.

  • Even the Doomsday clock was set back a minute today!

  • i want to kiss you.

  • Well said. I think people now take a cynical view to everything, and all that matters is themselves and what's happening right now.

  • having the desire to 'teach the world' is honorable. ....entertaining at best, but fruitless in practicality.

  • i like it.....

    and its nice too...

  • YES ITS NICE

  • I went to that account, but there was no Coca Cola song...

  • My sister is singing the solo for this!!

    loveangelmusicbaby987 is her account

  • This is Amazing!

  • THis Is My Choir Song=)

  • sweet little voice,sweet little kisses.Thank you.

  • i sang this when i graduate:)

  • Wow. I sang this song for my first grade concert... in 1987!!! Had no clue she sang it then.

  • If I sing, the cat runs under the bed. :P

  • If I sing, they send the Imperial Guards after me. And fish explode.

  • aww lea's voice is so awesome even when shes young

  • British song :D :D :D :D

  • But it must have been the cutest thing ever :)

  • what? its awesome

    !

  • It's nice to think that..but it's a real lie

  • hey every one listen when she said thats the song i here in 1:38 she said heeeeeeeeeuuuuure like shes angry listen hurry

  • That's actually the right way to sing that word. ;)

  • wow i love her voice i love this song ilove the pictures

  • COKE COMMERCIAL in the 70's

  • the one and only missaigon that the world praise and gave a standing ovation our salute to you miss lea salonga!

  • love this song, but no one can sing it as good as the new seekers

  • Please tell me this is Lea at the age of 5, because that's what she sounds like.

  • I think she was 9 when she recorded it, originally released in 1981.

  • The Ray Coniff style is the the best version.

  • actully it starts at 0:05 and ends at 0:06

  • i love this song but on number 0:06 its like she's saying shit listen

  • she furnish shit with love XD

  • I noticed that too! XD

  • i know but it's funny

  • because you knew that you did that when you were little as well. Plus, you were too innocent to have realized what you were actually singing. and the recording company/producer obviously thought it was adorable enough to let it pass by. XD

  • i love her voice!

  • " i remember this song when i was on my grade school days... its a great song "

    Thanks for uploading this one
