  • how can people say that the church isn't true after watching this video.

  • This made me cry. :'| Very inspirational. You'll see 'Beans' again, Darren. Don't give up. :)

  • Brother Scott was our youth devotional speaker at a youth conference a couple years back in Saskatchewan!!!

  • I have not been the best mormon, but when i watch videos like this it makes me look at myself and realize that the lord really didnt give us all trials that we could over come and now i realize that thanks to these videos i am going to become a stronger person through faith and be able to be worthy to see my three friends that have commit suicide. thank you so much for this video im glad i was able to watch this.

  • Most excellent show of strength of faith in Jesus Christ and His restored gospel. This video has helped me to realize how small I am and how people can be influenced by small acts of others...and I think the real person who has demonstrated that in its full spectrum is Christ our Lord, Jesus.

  • I'm glad there's still good youth in the world that can touch the hearts of many and show that there is still hope, love, kindness out to reach us despite all the horrible death & sorrow I believe pain can bring us closer to people or pull us away but it's ultimately how we use those emotions. This video helped me to grow in spirit and know I can come back to others and still trust people. We all have experienced pain in some manner, and that as humans we can come and love and comfort eachother.

  • miss you beans, you made an impact on Taber! We have so many missionary experiences through seminary!!!!!!!

  • Beautiful. Inspirational. True. You will see "Beans" again Darren.

  • NICE VEDIO BUT WHY IS HD THE VEDIOS

  • Wow when my uncle passed away I went threw the exact same things that he did anger confusion but in the end my testimony was strengthened of the atonement and the plan of salvation and I have been able to move on great message(:

  • What a message of comfort. One of our young women was just killed in a car accident. This is a reminder to me of what the Atonement really means and how it can ease the pain and comfort our hearts. Thank you.

  • There are so many things in our lives.. we unfortunately have to learn the hard way.. and it is hurting... it is always hurting.. It is only the hope that things are much better at the other side of the river... Thank you so much my dear friend...

  • My Dearest Friend Skyler Killed himself Last month, I didn't know what to do, i had so many questions, My uncle sent me this video, My questions were answered and now i know he is up there Watching everybody. He is OK and i will see him one day. I am not Mormon, I never went to church. But i Believe in God and Jesus Christ. R.I.P. Skyler Anthony Hansen, August 4, 1997- February 11, 2011

  • What a wonderful video. Thank you for your testimonies.

  • This video has had a big impact on the little town of Taber, it is amazing what small things to do in missionary work!!!!

  • miss you beans, you made an impact on Taber! We have so many missionary experiences through seminary!!!!!!!

  • Your video made a big impact on me! Thank you for sharing your story, my heart goes out to you Darren and bean along with his family and everyone invlolved!! Your story was very inspiring!

  • As a youth of the church I can relate to the confusion Darren must have felt. But more than that, I can relate to the peace offered by our savior, and the healing we can recieve if we turn our hearts to him. I cannot imagine losing a friend. I can only offer my deepest sympathy.

Thank you, Darren, for your testimony.

  • love it.

  • =(

  • Amazing. I am overwhelmed with the Spirit. I've lost so many friends and family through tragic accidents like Beans but I know that they are working hard and watching over me as I work hard here. Thank you for this video. May the Lord bless Beans' family and friends forever and always.

  • I had a 2 year old cousin who passed away last October, so I know what that must have been like :'(.But I also know I can see her again. :)

  • the church of jesus christ of the latter day saints is the true church!

  • This made me absolutely caught up in the spirit of this. Each one of us has such a HUGE impact on so many. My continual thanks to the LDS Church for producing films of such HIGH quality. It felt like I was watching something as good as anything I would see in the theater. Just OUTSTANDING.

  • Thank you all for the positive comments. Chris continues to make me a proud aunt. He was an amazing young man...he has a great family...and truly genuine friends.

  • he was a great and amazing guy! one of the best ive ever met!

  • <3 Thank you for this video! Thank you! <3

  • ILUV dhiz video =)

  • Tears too dripped down my face, so touching - It is something like this, you truly give thanks for the atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ. How can two people dislike it, are they heartless souls? Surely, let the Lord touch them with the Holy Ghost. 'Yea, behold, I will atell you in your mind and in your heart, by the Holy Ghost,

  • What an amazing story to be shared with the world. We had the opportunity of having Brother Scott speak at our Tri-Stake conference last year and his talk was about the greatest missionary, Beans. He had everyone crying by the end, but it was one of the most spiritual lectures I've ever attended. Thank you Beans, for sharing your light with the world!

  • The spirit testifies of how strong god can be in our lives if we remember to go to him. Thank heaven for such strong youth in adversity.

  • Death does not need to be the end of our relationships with cherished loved ones. The Lord revealed to Joseph Smith that the “same sociality which exists among us here will exist among us there [in eternity], only it will be coupled with eternal glory” (Doctrine and Covenants 130:2).

  • yes He will

    at this on time

    but He wil

    Praise the Lord

    amen

    sonia&family

  • What a wonderful video. What truth is taught. It really doesn't become real till it happens to us. What great strength is shown

  • Great and inspiring video!

  • I read this young man's story in the new era. No other story or article has touched me as much as his did. The article is entitled "He wanted to be a missionary." The title alone pierces my soul. "Beans" sounds like the best example to how we should live our lives. It sounds like he will be greatly missed.

  • It is always harder for the ones that are left behind. Death at such a young lively age is hard especially for the families to deal with. I hope BEANS' younger siblings get the love and attention they need.

  • Miss you Beans. I know your alright.

  • This is my town. My seminary, my seminary teacher, my old friends. I was a few years older than Beans, but I, too, was his friend. He was everyone's friend. Let us remember that the Savior can over come, and truly triumph over the grave. It's been a year or two since that accident, and although the little town of Taber has seen much trial since then - no trial is ever too big for the everlasting Savior.

  • What a powerful, powerful video. Thank you.

  • My face is now wet with tears. Love and light to you Darren, to the family of "Beans," to Chris Evanson and all others who were affected by this horrible accident. The love of our Heavenly Father, and our Savior's love, grace and compassion are more than enough.
