I use the icall (not i-call) app. The free plan allows free out-going call but not in-coming or voicemail but it's pretty cool. All you need is the app and the apple headphones/mic that comes with the iPod touch and you' good to go. Touch is awesome 

This application is a piece of crap. It makes you install another shit on your PC called Voip Stunt and that loads all kind of crap too. I restarted my PC after that and Norton Internet Security started installing itself!!!!!@@ I don't know where the hell it brough it from, then it wouldn't uninstall with all tools I tried. I had to restore my PC. Then, the Fring won't dial any numbers from my ipod touch. So, it only allows you to put there and dial a number and get all crap on your PC. Fail
