You can break your opponents card if yours is a higher number and likewise for them but 0 always wins. :) You also can put three cards together (if you look at the upper left screen) and create a combo, different card powers give you different uses.

Well, it should because there's a difference between English letters and Japanese symbols. Putting "RECOVER" in the Japanese game makes as much sense as putting the Japanese symbol for healing inside the English KH:CoM.
