  • Good point except... that major record labels seem to only promote the most vanilla of the vanilla music. Same way with Grammy awards. Same way with radio stations. Same way with music videos. What kind of message is that sending artist??? I'll tell you, It says "Make safe, vanilla music if you want to be successful. If the record industry would stop force feeding us vanilla, your point might have more validity. Have you looked at Billboard any week in the last 30 years? IT'S ALL VANILLA...

  • please check out Joe Maraio's album "Soul for Sale" on iTunes. See if the last song on the album makes you weep..

  • All music sound the same now and when I hear something that I like that sounds different... then and only then will I buy it

  • Great point Nancy! Double chocolate chip music is what I'm all about. LMAO. I don't blend well with others.

  • get me noticed ! (wave) come on darn it ! lol !

  • There's a great new way to get your music heard - go to the meermusic or famegamesradio site and sign up for ABC's Fame Games. It's now nationwide and worldwide and it's the first time EVER that indies get to be extensively featured on network radio. The implications of this to your career can be enormous - if your music has what it takes!

  • I'm actually sitting here laughing after hearing the word "Vanilla" being used to label music as such. I think this is an excellent point.
