  • i think you've done it very well! It's great!

  • Can someone help me? I learned this piece, but I'm not too good with using the sustain pedals...

  • Nice Afro.

Tu l'as joues vraiment bien sinon ^^

  • You have an interseting way of thinking. So as you say when I see somebody play the hardest piece in the world for example Cziffra's Flight of The bumblebee and I see that he play's it totally flat without dynamics then I shouldn't say anything until I learn it myself? lol :D

  • yes thats exactly what im saying , and im saying this guy is playing it well and alot better than jensbolte can and you i yet to see a video from either of you displaying any talent of it whatso ever, i do not claim to play it better which is why i praise him

  • OK:) i have a few things started at this moment but I will put my version up once, but it's not my priority and it's the summer holiday's so won't be very soon

  • You should play the song, especially the right hand with more strength.

Also Tiersen plays a bit Robato.

  • maybe 7u shuld upload a video of it prick

  • putting things up on youtube isn't just about showing off but also to know peoples opinions and to get some critics so that you can get better i know it myself. Jens knows what he's sayin and I agree with him

  • until you put up a video showing better you have no right

  • Comment removed

  • at the end of the day he plays it better than you

  • @Jensbolte I am being completely honest, please post a video of yourself playing better than this man, and show us just how developed your ears are

  • Well, not yet.

I have a couple more songs to play before I wanna start something new (l'absente, the entertainer, moonlight sonata)

And I want to play them without sheets.

I know the song, I have the notes and I play piano. My critiscim is correct. But I don't mean it badly and want to say 'wow, that's bad'.

I just want to help him improving the song.

And believe me, my ears are developed.

  • once again jensbolte you annoying fuck. you claim to be some expert critiquing everyone's videos but you are working on MOONLIGHT SONATA? that is laughable.

  • But Despite of being an easy song Is a master piece and all interpretations are different and you don't even know if he will add some parts that doesn't exist, good luck!

  • @Jensbolte don't you think that if he wanted to improve his work on this part he would just take some sheets and practice a bit more...besides advices r ok as long as some1 asks for them,it's rude giving them to ppl without question.

  • Rubato... not Robate ;D

  • la souplesse des doigts !

  • Comment removed

  • This is definetly played with much more strength.

The rythm is good, but not perfect.

    You should tune your piano.

Also you play some parts differently than Tiersen, especially at the beginning.

    4/5

  • Lifts my soul...superb playing :0)

  • Superb!!! Lifts my soul

  • you're headbanging! how cool

  • meOisOme - R-tard

  • I love the fact that you actually put some feeling into the song. I've seen some other performances of this song, but you actually seem to care about what you play. It strikes me every time I hear it. God, I wish I had some form of musical talent...

  • beautiful song

  • Good Job,. very good technique in your hands.. great interpretation.,,.im learning that song.,,. i just finish a quai on piano.! Greetings.

  • J'aime beaucoup comment tu joues ton intro, mais ton meilleur vidéo reste l'absente, continue ton bon travail ;)

  • You play so beautifully. It's very inspiring how much emotion you manage to put into this song. It really adds a lot more depth to it.

  • you play it as good as yann tiersen himnself!

  • thats' so nice from you..I think it's still far from his interpretation..but..I'm trying to keep on working...

However I don't have time to record some new stuff these days...

  • oo oke, anyway its great you post this, you play better then other people, this sounds just great!, I'm trying to play a song of yann tiersen on the piano now, And I want to play this one to. Having trouble finding the sheet....

  • WOWW.,! it is very good played., i will try to play it too.! Good Job. !

  • absolutely amazing, i love how you express everything with your movements even if they aren't intentional

  • magnifique!!

    j'aimerai tant avoir la partition

  • Amazing! (your performance, and Paris-my favorite place on earth)

  • Thank you very much. Yeah, for me, Paris is still n# 1!

    But try Prague one day...:)

  • You certainly can play, theese are very good interpretations. But still do you really have to shake your head like if you were having spasme crises and screw the sheet music up? I mean... even if you're into it, that's kinda useless

  • Here we can see you're not musician.

    Uselesss...

Do you think Keith Jarret or many others make movements for fun ?

It helps a lot for interpretation.

  • Cauchemarrant> Actualy you're wrong.

I've been playing the piano for 12 years now and I can play quiet well without that kind of movements. I do compose sometimes too...

Drobekwwl> Don't misunderstand me, I may not like the esthetical part of your playing, but I'm still impressed by your dexterity and musical sensibility. It's just that for me the movements aren't helping the feelings you put into it. Talking about tiersen, he don't do that.

  • Thank you for your suggestive comment. Anyway, I see what I do while I am playing usually afterwards, from the video...believe me, I have no reason to put there any "extra" moves:) So as Cauchemarrant mentioned, it's part of me, part of my attitude to each piece. And as Morrissey sings - If you don't like me, don't look at me:)

  • I love Paris ;) I will be there for some days this fall...

  • great!
