I raced both in Germany in the mid 80's. 914 is sharper but 911 is better in the middle of the night when you're tired and your attentions span is waning. It rotates more slowly so if you botch corner and hang the tale, the chances are good that you can recover. With the 914, forget it.
@12valvepower1 During the early to mid 70's I worked in a restaurant whose manager was easily six foot three and he owned a nice 914. Based on that I would think you would fit nicely in one.
