Why in games is that 1 man with missile luncher pwn choppers and tanks.

I mean, in this game Tanks can shot down choppers easy ( I saw it on tank vs Chopper remix ), why putting milions in choppers and tanks if 1 man with missile luncher pwn alot better ?

It is just my conclusion how 70 tons tank or expensive choppers are not worth of they price on battlefield.

@CommanderIX IF you shoot yer rocket without zooming in (or ADS) doesnt it prevent the enemy from hearing that lock-on sound?  I remember shooting copters without aiming down the sight all the time. Or using ADS to trick them into thinking i was about to shoot, when i was often waaay to far to have a decent shot, this would sometimes coax them into flying closer in which case i would stop locking on, and once he was close enough just let the shot off! Is this true or am i rembering wrong?

Choppers do not detect when guided rockets are targeting them. They only detect when a missile such as a stinger or jets AIM-9 is locked.

i've got two tips for oyu guys...when you are shooting at long distance don't aim the target...lead the rocket somewhere nearby and when you think it's near enough to the target then lead it to the target - the trick is in that the target won't have any idea you are leading a missile on it until you move your aim to it - and then it will have less time to dodge. second tip - fire above the target and when missile is high enough than lead it to the target - noone will see where it came from

I got a better tip - Equip a pistol, take a tiny piece of paper, place the paper in the middle of your crosshair, now you don't need to right click to aim and you can move around faster as you guide the missle. It shoots perfectly accurate without right clicking to aim, even if you're running around.

Yeah, this small piece of paper totally f***ed up my computer. First it was just the screen (paper has a disastrous chemical reaction with an LCD screen when applied with static electricity.) Then it ruined my processor, motherboard and graphics card. It even jammed my fan. So yeah it totally f***ed up my computer. Make sure you're careful with paper yomama629 because it's really dangerous.

Why do you consider AT-ing a plane a dirty kill?

Would it be much cleaner to let it take of and then try to shoot it down, while it releases 2 tons of bombs up your face?

Any way you kill a plane, it's a clean kill. And if you kill the stupid noobs too, the ones that gather around it trying to get in, then it's even cleaner.

Its easy to down choppers with AT, wait till the chopper is flying in a way that you can lead it well. Wether it is linear or in a circle, you can always imagine the lead you have to give. Once imagined, you hit 60% of the time. You only need patience and good brains to position yourself.

You can even down jets near airfield if you now how much lead to give.

There's also another tactic you can use with tanks and such who will dart behind cover at first sound of the locked on alarm. Aim and fire a bit above them and then drag the missile down on top of them, like an actual javelin missile.

It cuts down on the time they have to react and helps you practice with your timing. It also serves a decoy for those tankers who track smoke trails back to the soldier.

APC's weakest spot is the flat plate on the back apparently. Tanks - I am not sure, they seem tough all round.

On a chopper though the weakest part is certainly the cockpit/windows! It takes about 8 bullets to blow a chopper up if you shoot the windows, but about 18 bullets if you just randomly shoot it.

As for those APC's it takes 4 bullets in the windscreen to blow up the MEC van. Is it a van? LOL

Tank's weakest spot is the wheels or the spinning tracks. Hitting there does 50% dmg. While all the other spots do 35% or close. Shoot there and it's dead in 2 shots.

try to hit directly the chains of the tank, it takes you 2 shots with the SRAW to kill it or one with TOW

I found a diagram with all the hit locations with equivalent damage. The turrent/body joint does 45% while the tracks do 50%. It seems like tracks are easier to hit in my experience.

Note: It only takes 90% damage to start a tank flaming. It's basically dead without a fast repair.

ya know, people find Anti-tank quite misleading. It doesn't have to be anti-TANK It's my favourite class. Not only because I'm not afraid of tanks, it's because the SRAW is a great weapon to use on infantry. (the Eryx, not so much, due to it's long reload). Also the best KIT for infantry to attack with SRAWs is Support. Due to the fact that they use machine guns, they must go prone to shoot you, which means they can't avoid your rockets, so take aim and FIRE! (great tip for close range firing!)

NICE vid but at 00:38 u dont have to be dead on the body, u can hit the ground in front of them as long as its close to them and itll kill em too Also, to kill choppers easier, just hit the pilot especially the AH-Z and Z-10 that will kill the pilot and the chopper but if it only kills the pilot, then everyone inside crashes because they may not know their pilot is DEAD

you want to hit dead on but yeah dont need to, can use walls etc for splash kills, also vehicles exploding next to infy works just as well, dead on is more for those shots that are across the map ya know. You can knock out the pilots yup, which is nice but tricky to find the sweet spots on. You name it i've done it, this vid is basic as it gets but was fun slappin together on my old comp.

Fire your bullet/rocket whatever, where the person/vehicle whatever will be in a few seconds, not where you currently see him. Firing directly at someone/something moving will make you miss or have to adjust your rocket in flight to much that you will simply just miss/fall short.

just don't shoot early with a sniper rifle, aim where he will be in a second then fire a second later, its easier then trying to match his speed with your crosshairs. Its also why changing directions a lot keeps you alive. oh and 6thAD, nice vid man its pretty rare that I see a bf2 video that doesn't make me want to vomit through my eyes, it was nicely edited and has good tips for noobs
