Unless you were going to get them fairly cheap, i would not recommend them. I had problems with mine after excessive use. The software was not always stable (this was back when Virtual DJ 5.0. was out). Since then i have move on to Denon DJ gear (cant afford Pioneer). I curretntly have the Denon DN-S3500 (they are kind of old too, but i love the moving platter)
Hi Al - i have been thinking about buying the ICDX. I am just concerned with searching for tracks on my ipod or external. How is the display and search options on it? also you have had then a number of months now, how is everything else performing ? Would love your input. practice n enjoy
You can pretty much use any type of mixer, depends how you want to set it up. As far as the sound card goes there is a couple ways you can go as well. Its really all preferance. I'll make a video on it this weekend, and try to explain it best i can.
there is a couple defferent ways to do it. it depends what your working with, but for the most part your just running the outputs to 2 different channels on your mixer.
I use the same thing you have, the numark ICDX and virtual dj but I don't know what mixer I should get, and I also have the Numark Dj io audio interface.
yo almartn i have virtual dj too and i got a question for you about the icdx. on the display screen does it show the beats being matched visually like it does in virtual dj with the squares and bars at the top while two traks are being mixed?
No it does not, it only gives you the time, pitch, and text. although the cool thing is that you can control the special effects from the ICDX. hope that helps... any other question just hit me back
