  • Am I the only one clicking on the first related video to see where I am going?

  • I wish Guitar World and Paul would do a serious review of Aria's STG-003. I think it might be one of the best strat copies out on the market and the best guitar for the money in the guitar world.

  • *listening to the shredding in the start* Haha, finally! A review without that dude that always does the reviews, because he can't shred like this.!

*The camera shows the dude from guitarworld* ............. Whaaaaat!?

  • @Diabolical93 Dude, Paul is fucking insane guitarist!

  • @thedude2906 Yeah, i understand that now :)

  • That is the most beautiful guitar I have ever seen in a long time.

  • This guitar is so pretty, I want to eat it.

  • if I was to get it, i would just put a Jazz or 59 in the neck, then i think it would be a solid rock axe!

  • why have the guitar the same pickup in the neck and the bridge? i've heard that the dimebucker is better in the bridge

  • i have playerd them all and i like aria pe elite the best /that includes gibson les pauls /ibanez/all of them it has awsome sustain fast board every thing a rocker needs /one guy wrote its a les paul no its aria and so much better than a les paul.

  • that heel-less joint is a good idea...i've never played one before but i deffinetly want to

  • looks like an angel but plays like a devil

  • so let me get this strait, a les paul body (+1)

    a sweet maple cap (+1)

    heel-less joint (+1)

    nice inlays(+1)

    dimebucker pickups (+8997)

my god, its OVER 9000... lol i need this guitar :P

  • REMAKE of Les Paul......

  • that guitar looks awesome

  • He only plays rock and metal. What about Jazz and players of other genres? Where are the reviews for us?

  • @TheHawkdaddy i dont think they would put dimbuckers in a jazz guitar thou...

  • @mrdavid333 Dimebag's main influence was Jazz/blues I believe

  • I hate how it's so obvious he's reading a script.

  • So let's say you put a Seymour Duncan TB and an EMG 81 pickup in that bad boy with , let's say...a Marshall amp. How badass would that sound?

  • you need a battery for the EMG 81..passive pickups are the way for me..active pickups are for professional musician on stage like slayer and metallica..Choose seymour or dimarzios.if it comes w/either one just dont F-with it

  • Some musicians use TBs though because it has a dirtier sound to it whereas the EMGs give a brighter tone to the distortion. I'm asking though if it would sound good at all if there was an EMG 81 with a TB installed into an Aria Pro, or any guitars know for the use in heavy metal.

  • its not gonna make a difference to be brutally honest, you either have it w/or out battery in your guitar..you should use dimarzios for punk it has a more hotter edge for that raw distortion..EMG is for metal. in punk the sound is more on the bridge and tone almost half down

  • I've heard Seymour Duncan TBs though on a King V. Gotta be honest, that has to be the thrashiest I've heard from them so far.

  • and no batteries yea!!

  • Dark Angel is fucking epic.

  • I have a 77 Aria Pro 2, a 78 Les Paul standard, an 81 Les Paul custom, and a 06 Fender Highway One strat and I'll put the Aria up against them anytime. Better action and the sound is just as good. Don't sell Aria short. You're paying for a name when you go Gibson and Fender.

  • ugly..

  • nice tone, can get one for 696 euro ,do ya think thats a good deal..lol.

  • $300 take it or leave it..Aria known as the other poor man's ESP

  • @wisesatyr72 I cant afford this but what about the pe elite or standard? What are the differences?

  • it has the seymour duncan pickups or dimarzios..which will make the guitar growl or shimmer like church bells..I dont know those other twos..all I know is this guitar looks awesome

  • Aria guitars are used by the one guitarist from Dark Angel, and it sounds fucking thrash as fuck.

  • I will buy one for $300 dollars thats all Im willing to spend

  • Didn't exactly answer my question..

  • hey, i was playing an Ibanez RG style aria pro 2 yesterday it had EMG pickups could anyone tell me what model this?

  • what happened to the good reviews? they used to be nice and thorough but now these are basically what you can readin a catalougue....anybody know a reason?

  • this is a spotlight, not a review... they still make reviews, its just different than this

  • they do reviews. These are recommendations by guitarworld.

  • DIMEBUCKERS = NO DEAL!

  • So short compared to other video reviews GW does. Would bet Aria paid for it. Still looks like a great guitar.

  • Crappy

  • It's a great instrument. I tested it yesterday an I'll buy the guitar next week. :-)

  • Get the new: Aria PE-Exotic Electric Guitar for only the cost of your left testicle!

  • all for the price of your legs! YEY! -_-

  • are those 2 dimebuckers? holy shit.. thats beasty

  • I love the finish on this guitar...and the sound is great to.

  • thats one sweet looking guitar

  • nasty tone :(

  • nasty in a good way

  • looks like my m8s les paul

  • i have one of these, and i love it

  • I will never know why they decided to put High gain pickups in this guitar of all guitars. Its a Les Paul, why not one with a more high gainish guitar shape.

  • Hey, to each their own right? Besides, I think it sounded great with whatever Amp Paul was playing through. Besides, even though I play a Les Paul, I think most Les Pauls sound muddy and too rolled off on the top end anyway, so they could certainly stand more clarity and definition. I'll sit back and wait for the inevitable - "Dude, no way! Les Pauls are perfect on their own, man!!!" comments to start rolling in now lol By the way, this guitar kicks ass! Aria deserves more press. Peace. -dave

  • Sadly, today's Aria does'nt stand rhe match with the guitars the company made in the late '70s and early 80s... i played one once, and, even though it was'nt one of the top line models, it looked Great, sounded amazing, and had an infinite sustain... i agree that Les Pauls have their own flaws, but maybe such a highgain pickup is a bit too much, taking away part of the instrument's versatilty... with the vintage ones you could go all the way from blues to heavy rock.

  • And that's why I own a vintage aria hollowbody haha

  • It's beautiful! How much does it cost though?

  • $1800.00 - $2100.00 USD

  • You know, it IS beautiful, and quite frankly, MANY Les Paul players like myself, are very dissapointed at Gibson for not evolving the Guitar at all. Look at the heel-less set neck joint on the ARIA! That should have been Gibson's idea, but that's ok, they're too busy worrying about endorsing new douche-bag artists and being trendy then being an innovative music instrument manufacturer. I would literally rather have a 70's Aria "Paul" , or Ibanez Artist than almost any Gibson Les Paul.

  • don't know about th ibanez Artist, but generally I agree, save that you forgot the deep innovations of putting a midi exit on a Les Paul (oh my god! new and groundbreaking! it sounds almost vintage, there were midi guitars in the 80s) and tweaking it with a lot of useless tinkers, most of whom make you think that you'd actually get a synth and stop it. I like technologic guitars, such as the Matt Bellamy signature, but the DarkFire and Robot guitar just don't go the right way...

  • I know, right?! I'll even say the PRS body design really should have been Gibson's too. The ironic thing is, they came out with the DC series which is a double cut-away LesPaul a few years back, but by then, no one cared (or noticed) because the INSANELY over-rated PRS took over that part of the market. It doesn't help Gibson that their USA made Pauls are ridiculously over-priced. I had this EXACT conversation with the owner of The Starving Musician music store in San Jose, 20 years ago!

  • I think Gibson is sticking to the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" policy. Maybe they're afraid that shaving some wood from the heel would sacrifice sustain or something? Anyways, I doubt they'll change anything. It's Gibson, probably the most popular guitar company of all time! They could make a plywood guitar with plastic hardware and comsumers would eat it up.

  • Yeah, but you KNOW Gibson is resting on their laurels with this guitar. I know that in many Les Paul players' minds, it would be Sacreligious to mess with a successful design, but, let me make an analogy that makes perfect sense. Do you think that Randy Rhoads would have been as incredible and revered as he was if he just played the Pentatonic scale and barre chords his whole life, and didn't evolve as a musician every moment of his Life? No way. Evolution is a part of Life people. A Metaphor.

  • then again not every les paul ...is a les paul standard.

  • fuck off bob

  • @CharvelDude94 who the fuck is bob

  • cliff burton played aria basses and was offered an endorsement before he died ;)

  • @awesomenessness1792

    Now you made me sad...

  • For crying out loud, it's ugly!

  • looks kinda rough lol

  • i have one and if somebody want that guitar to buy i say go for it

  • there must have been a deal on dimebuckers that week.

  • woww..dimebucker..sick man

  • that's odd that they put 2 Dimebuckers in it,I wonder what it sounds like clean.

  • that natural pattern in the wood is insanely wonderful. i wish i were a rich man!!

  • eh, it's kind of ugly looking to me. I don't really like the spalted maple.

    Otherwise it's pretty awesome.

  • wow, why does it sound so horrible!!!!! geez, paul needs a new amp. lol

  • agreed...all that nice body work and then they put dimebuckers on it!!!! I wanna throw up......

  • or new tubes in it :))
