  • hmmmmm not so sure if this is real...... speedo seems to be out! look at the breaks in the lines on the road surface..... 180mph would hide all the breaks and be one continuous line.. plus looking at the cars passing...180mph would be a blur!

  • You can tell its 180 cause each of the telephone poles is a quarter mile apart haha

  • Does a ZX6 redline at 16,000rpm, might be a 400cc with that high ceiling and then the kph would fit!!

  • @MinkeySimon its a 600cc, hence the ZX *6* r

  • That's kph, no way is that 180mph, I know cus I do it a lot on my bike, durh!!

  • It is mph tho.. but speedo is wacko.. no 600 will do 180 that fast. lmao!

I have a 600.. I know.. I have gearing changed.. when i was in 6th tapped out it showed 186mp.. but then i got a SPEEDODRD to make my speedo ACCURATE the REAL TOP SPEED was 168mph.

  • 180 on a 600 is wrong.. gearing change the speedo

  • HIS SPEEDOMETER is way off, something is glitched / broken on his bike.Watch his other video.... its way more apparent, judging by how slow he passes other cars supposedly going 100mph..

  • Sweet video, It also takes me no time to hit 178-180 on my 99 ninja zx-6r titanium c series twin brothers exhaust, k&n air filter, Fender eliminator kit and Integrated tail lights. Check out start up video on my profile, No riding videos cause I have no Helmet or dash cam, Just the sound shows you how much of a beast kawasakis are though, Live to ride, Ride to live forever and @ grassshadow, your so right. They have no idea what its like ha probably had their ass dusted on the highway by a zx6r

  • I always see people talking so much trash about how the bike appears to be moving slower than the speed that a device created to read its speed says it is going. It kinda gets annoying, no one is a human speedometer and everything is more fast paced when its you and your not watching it on camera.I will say most of the people who wrote that trash have probably never been past 100 mph.

  • haha ive got an 07 zx6r ive only had mine like 146 "MPH" but it had alot more. lol

  • i ride a 07 zx6r... and its weird because mine goes over 180 mph.... you dumb ass people who think this is km/h should get a bike and learn to ride before trying to act like you know more than the guy riding the bike....

  • 180mph no way you can see on the speedo its is km/h

  • should of put in the wet in the title too!!

  • It's not 180 mph if the bike is stock. It's closer to 167 or so, all modern sportbikes have factory specified speedometers that show roughly 5-8% more than the actual speed of the bike. I have the same bike and can attest that this is not accurate.

  • in other I think you are say about the power band you don't loose that" sweet spot" where it maybe hard to get that right power back..

  • squeeky bum time....nice

  • thats some jacked up gearing... anytime you change the front sprocket like that -3 or 4, then the cluster says stupid stuff.... clearly looking @ the road, bike only going bout 120 in 6 gear

  • that took long, compared to my 04 gsx r1000 lol..........

  • he has gearing changed.. and speedo is off 10-15% on diffrent bikes. All is the not the same.... Every bike is diffrent

  • factory speedo's are off by up to 11%....i'd say yours is about that if you think it's mustering a hampered 180 because you weren't in full tuck.....learn your bike please

  • more like a ton 40 lol

  • 130 kmh in first gear,..

  • i got this bike model and it dont do 180 mph your digital read out is wrong, get a GPS system to log your speed to give ya a true reading

  • this fuckin bike will do 80mph in first i do that shit all the time -_-

  • I'm sorry in first gear that bike will not do 80Mph it was 80 kph

  • @DannyIIIvb You dunno what your on about at all. Any stock geared 600 sports bike will push 80+ in first gear.

Motorbikes have close ratio gear boxes, first gear is very tall, the rest of the gears are closely spaced because a bike has a narrow power band and small ratios mean every time you change gear, you dont drop out of the power band.

  • @DannyIIIvb Are you kidding me?? I just got an 09 ZX6R and it will do 130km/h (80mph) in 1st gear without hitting the limiter! 80km/h you've got to be joking! You'll be doing 80km/h in first just as you hit the power band

  • He is doing closer to 165ish with speedometer correction of roughly 7-10 percent. My 05 636 did 182 and my nav said 168 mph.

  • not many people know it but 2006 was the last year of the 636 anything newer is only 600cc look it up i have an 05 and 07 these bikes top around 160 mph

  • Comment removed

  • GPS speed is still off by 10 or so,give or take

  • It's geared. Go to 0:03. He is going like 5mph and it says 27mph. Need to buy a speedo healer.

  • i have the same bike and i did 179 through belgium on my way to the autobahns in germany. although gps speed would be a bit lower , maybe 10 / 15 mph. I had stock gearing at the time.

  • any mods to the bike sporkets are stock?

  • gearing change-= not the right speedo.

Unless you got a speedohealer like i do. my speedo is very accurate now

  • Thats 180 on the speedo not true gps speed. All factory speedo's have a small percentage error especially if you regear your bike without putting a speedo healer. Plus I have never heard of a stock 600 doin a 180, especially the worst zx6r made in the last 10 years. Regardless your still going fast..... in a straight line.

  • @gsavvakis i bet your basing that on the fact that is has 1 or 2 bhp less than the other 600's, like it makes a difference

  • @gsavvakis well its not a 600 its a 636 and 36cc makes a big diff i have an 03 with full exhuast and power comander and i have hit 179 top

  • @JeremyHamiltonRacing Exactly! and its not like anyone's cars can really beat a bike anyway! Besides top speed doesnt really matter that much! At least not to people that are truly talented riders. For example a peter lenz beat 600cc bikes on a 125 at willow. Anyone can twist a throttle. not everyone can get there knee down.. :)

  • This looks more like 180 km/h

  • @brenopineironeri not you may want to see the gear and his tach its not im km/h dumm dumm

  • @brenopineironeri when you own a bike im sure you will retract that statement!

  • @brenopineironeri the reason we all know its not, is cuz he went through 6 gears and if it really was km/h he would only be going 111 mph and we all know these bikes are more capable than that.

  • @brenopineironeri 180km/h is when the spedo shows around 115m/h the speedo is in miles the bike is doong around 290 according to the spedo

  • @brenopineironeri So you think a 2007 636cc race bike can only do 112mph (180kmh)??? You are an idiot and you've NEVER ridden a sport bike and certainly not a 636. and yes, I have owned a couple. The speedometer is off a couple percent so maybe 10mph max difference, give or take .. but you saying its KMH not MPH, You're a fucking idiot!!

  • @kyle1058 It's pretty obvious he was joking and there is no such thing as a 2007 636.

  • @brenopineironeri Its definitely MPH but Im guessin that wasnt a calibrated speedo so he was probably going around 155 160. either that or hes had some work done to his bike.

  • @brenopineironeri theres no way dumb ass. he went through all the gears max RPM'S theres no way its 180Km/H you people are just stupid because you dont ride so you have no idea what speed looks like get a clue loser

  • plaicy88, i couldnt agree more, i read alot of these post on youtube, when i get home from work, and all it is " my bike is better than your bike, " or, " youre bike sucks, why not race my 2012KTM bla bla bla its magazine and youtube queens at there best bunch of keboard bumkins licking the monitors and telling momie when their hotpokets or tortino's pizza rolls are done

  • the absolute greatest video on you tube congrats speed is to die for

  • Listen at all the Chumps saying what speed this does/doesn't look like on Youtube!!

My Stock P7F is good for 170mph, been there once and shit does knock you about a bit! Who gives a F*** if this geez says he does 180 when his clock read 177, you all need to get out more on ya bikes rather than bitch about them!!

  • sorry this is not 180mph.. check other videos of other bikers going 180 and you will see. sorry-m8 Nice ride anyways!!!

  • if you were doing 180 without full gear on your head would be so hard to keep in a straight line .....there is no stock 600 that goes that fast......just because the junk speedo says that dosent mean anything....I toped out at 167-170 on a build to the hilt 636 and the clutch didnt even want to take it

  • Nice power wheelie at 1:20! Love this shit!

  • wind noise and rpms mean nothing to the retards commenting on this video

  • That's not 180 mph; that's barely 180 kph!!

  • the sprocket size won't affect the speedo, or at least shouldn't because most bikes have the speedo wired to the front wheel. I know when I had my front tire changed, the little speedo monitor was on the front wheel.

  • @almst1 doesnt matter what wheel the speedometer is on, the wheels are still moving at the same speed, a change of sprockets make more of a difference than you think

  • @almst1 Thats wrong, MOST sportsbikes have them mounted on the transmission output, so changing the gearing does make them overread, not sure what bike you've got.

  • to bad it's not really going 180 or even close to it

  • This guy ISNT a candy ass ! he uses mph unlike everyone else who just like to see the higher # !! RIDE ON !!! RESPECT

  • your average distanse between telponhe polls is 100-150 feet youd be flying past that at a real 170 even 100 for that matter

  • for me it just looked like 180kph...

  • he was in 6th gear with the engine at 13k. if he was doing 180 kph, or 110 mph, that'd be a 250r, not a zx6r, and from the dash everyone can tell it's not a 250r.

  • correction, a zx6 will go that fast. mine will infact. i have the exact same bike as this gentleman, for all you doubters, and they are very fast bikes. i currently have my gearing configuration at -1 also and mine tops out at true speed of 149mph. I have an aftermarket air filter, speedo healer, gearing, pipe, cat delete, ecu mod, smog pump removal, block off plates, custom tail section, yosh exhaust, and a bazzaz tuner. If it werent for my gearing, i would have no issues what so ever. sorry

  • Hahaha aha a zx6 will not go that fast u fucking dumb ass

  • i've done a true 180mph a number of times now (speed camera) on testing ground and no way in this world is that a true 180mph. to me it looked more like 150-160mph.

  • Well all I can say is my 2007 ZX6R with K&N Filter, PC3, Akrapovic end can, top road tyres and a -1+2 sprocket set has reached 164 mph at around 16Krpm (decent fuel and no wind). I was riding alongside a friends car that was doing the same speed and we had to slow because we were running out of airfield! He confirmed the speed because I had no healer fitted! I reckon I could have reached 170MPH but thats about all.

  • please recalibrate your speedo.

  • My 1998 can pull 162 so i wouldnt be suprised if this is for real

  • you kill a FLY, you are killer!

  • Common sense tells you he is not going 180mph when you look at how slow shit is passing by... lol

  • how long does it take to stop from 170mph? with an intermediate rider?

  • @Racketeerof89 It depends how many times you roll or flip. lol jk

  • to the haters... he's not doing 180mph. He's going fast, maybe 130 or 140, but not 180. The reason i am saying this is because he changed the sprocket. Down one tooth in the front may not make a huge difference at normal speeds, but at higher ones it will f*&% up your speedo reading. I have the same bike and went down one in the front and up 2 teeth in the rear. I had to get a speedo healer to correct the problem with my speed reading. I'd be doing 50 and my bike would say i was doing 90!

  • its in MPH, i have an 07 zx6R here in canada, first gear is 140 kph. @ 16000.

  • if u dont think a 2007-2008 zx6r can pull off a 160-170 run bone stock

just look at my proof on you tube go to czarbx333 and u will see what i did with two

backpacks on the stock bike i think it was like 162 but the bike was all stock nothing done to it so give or take...??? no matter what love my zx6r

  • if u dont think a 2007-2008 kawaski can pull off a 160-170 run bone stock

  • Nice bro, I topped my 07 zx6r out last night! 171 mph! gps verified!

  • it's funny how slow 80 seems after doing 170

  • -1 front sprocket and 180mph? Don't think so buddy your doin maybe 150-155

  • My Busa does 240mph stock,

  • Well 70 mph = 112.65408 kph

and mine redlines in first about 70-80 didnt really pay attention and he redlines first at 85 so it doesnt seem that he has it in kph to me, even though it does look like hes going kinda slow for 160-180 lol

also did you have a speedo healer on to make sure you were going this fast or is it off the expected 10%?

  • If you time the poles by 300ish Feet he was going around 157 MPH, not Kmh, however with the -1 front sprocket it will make the speedo off by another 3-7%, so I would say it was a bad move with the -1... You will loose speed in the high end...

However something a lot of people don't know about bikes and speedos is tires matter... Round Tires will be more on with maybe 3-5% OFF then Mushroom shaped tires, and tire wear also matters.

  • there is no way thats 180 MPH....kilometers no doubt but ive gone 120 on my bike and cars comin the other way looked faster than that...anyone who believes thats mph is an iddddiot

  • @DoubleDs32 Are you 12? Or just retarded? If you can honestly think that it takes him that long to do 115mph than you sir are the "iddddiot"

  • I have a zxr 636 06 model, how fast you think they get to 60mph stock?

  • i would say that on this bike it is possible to due 180mph...sometimes you just get a sweet bike...for the rest do some mods or buy a zx10r...but even on a 10r your not gonna bust 200mph unless you strip your govenor. chow.

  • KMH

  • I bought a used 05 636 and this is my first season on a rocket so I dont know much about mod's. However, I was giving a perfect oppurtunity to stretch her legs on I-75 in MI and I was crazy enough to look down and I saw 165 @ 13000 rpm's so she had a lil bit left in her. And yes i realized long before reading these comments that the speedo was off. think I can get that recalibrated under the warranty that came with it?

  • @11McIntyre Yea i own the same bike, its like they have a powerband right up high in the revs and just keep pulling!

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah most of the middle-weight bikes(ie zx6r, r6, gsxr600, cbr600rr) are usually in that 160-165 range. Maybe the 675 daytona might go a little bit higher, but still not 180.

  • thats kmh there is noway thats anywhere near 180 mph you can see gaps in the yellow lines that you would never see at that speed

  • This video's fake. I've gone 164 mph on mine (redlined) (zx6r 2008 Limited Edition). I know for a fact that this bike doesn't go over 170 mph without breaking your engine.

  • Im going to look at one of these babies this weekend, would you recommend it? Is that a gear indicator I see?

  • Great vid , a pleasure to watch ...its good to see the gear change up light show its lovely face , something i dont see often enough on mine .all the best , ride safe .

  • i a bike just like it and it i have gone 170 mph so fuck all u fuckers that say it cant be done.. it is also a great bike at the canyons!! will smoke plenty bikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Good vid but this bike does not cross 160MPH, even with the euro mod. And that front sprocket upgrade makes your guages from 10-20% off to about 20-30%off. You may have been doing 145-155. The bike looks like it handled it well

  • @dsouthmia yea dude hes definitely going fast than 145-155 mph....the gauges are not that off

  • Is that an I-90 Motorsports keychain I spy? :P

  • damn man! 89 mph in first gear was that?....cant wait till i have the money to get one of these

  • @rpo11231 a 2003-2009 or 2010 will do 104 in first gear

  • Except that's km/h, so roughly 112 mph.

  • @F3udF1st I have a 08 ZX6R and this is deff mph.

  • Very nice! Great get up and go!

  • factory speedos are off and u did the front sprocket so its off even more, do you have a speedohealer cuz id say ur not really goin 180 man

  • Is this 100% stock?

  • i did 167, and it wasnt max!!!

  • nicee bikee i have this bike but restriceted to 33bhp i only get 60 in first an top out 129mph do u know hw i could get mine quicker without derestricteing it taa nice vid by the way .

  • is ur bike a lot quicker with the jumper mod i have an 08 and all i could get is 169. the bike feels pretty quick but looses grunt up top in the rev range

  • Wow your all full of sh1t... Ive had 3 of these now and yes the speedo's maybe out and yes it may not hit 180 so you say but it all depends how you run the bike in aswell. I had 155 up slight hill with two of us on it and 187 flat on my own.. These bikes are great as stock.. Nice post you know im 14st and ive beat zx10s, gsxr750's its all about holding that sh1t back!!

  • i have a stock 08 zx10r n my buddy has a 06 cbr 600 with just a slip on muzzy,i gave him a heads start n when i past him at 180 like he was standing still n i still had more to go no 1 in this world can tell me in truth that their 600 can do 170 or close to 180 its impossible without sum serious mods

  • that 178 is really like 161 real mph tho, don't know why they have the speedos so far off

  • i've seen 178 on my 08 zx6r with stock gearing, dont think i would have been able to get there without the jumper mod a pc3 and full exhaust system tho, i'm 220 lbs, she still felt it had a little more in her too, bike is a ripper for sure

  • @greydee07 how do you get so much HP? also do you know what stock 07 zx6r are??? like 125 HORS POVER???

  • @ShevardnadzeII i put in full exhaust, powercommander. air filter.. and removed dead wight... air induction reeds. servo motor etc... and actually that was 176 i saw on the speedo stock gearing... prolly round 160mph actual.. too fast for the road now that i think about it.... very dangerous.... save it for the track...

  • @greydee07 so what is the max on the 07 zx6r?? max speed it will go up too?

  • No it is definetly in mph done the same with my zx6r

  • One way to test if its acurate, go through a speed camera :D, ive got 2 zx6rs, 1 57 and one 08, most i can get is 163mph.

  • @silvering21 So your saying that stock 2007 zx6r will not go faster than 160 miles per hour?

  • im very familiar with 186mph that was not close to 180 bru sprockets fuck with your mph guage i give it 140-150 shop can adjust your speedo pretty cheap! nice 600

  • nice...but the speedo is well off from the factory...sometimes upwards of 10%. 180-10% is 162. now with a smaller front sprocket youre going to be even further off, and youre probably doing 155 or so.

    be careful out there.

  • @socmonki how can u tell it is off from factory or are u just saying that from the front sprocket being down one? bc my same bike tops out around the same speed on the gears 1-3 i havent toped it out on 4-6 so idk about that

  • @socmonki your right on the money with that. Mine was off by 10% and pulled 162.4 mph on the dyno. and thats with the jumper mod and exhaust servo removed.

  • @socmonki ...Someone with some sense, and yes they are off 10+% from the factory, and sprockets will bump that error margin significantly

  • bro no offense as I have same bike but no way it does 180 mph as mines the aussie spec with more power than us and euro and it wont go over 270kph true speed not speedo reading ,if you get a true reaing it will max out at around 160 mph maybe a touch more depending on conditions

  • LoL fuckem247 Kmh!? . i took mine up to 172 MPH. so id say this video is acurate . the only thing is he might of been going down hill alittle so that helps .

  • And i thought i was the shit when i hit 175 on my zx10 lol, impressive run btw. Ride safe

  • Woops!! I did jumper mod too. but still not to try the max speed. Your bike sound like Akrapovic exhaust. If it's ont. Do you remove anything from the stock exhaust? Thanks!

  • Hi body! My bike is 07 zx6r too. I have some question wnat to consutation with you. What is your exhust? Do you refit any other? like power command or anythings? and the bike is Europe or Usa edition? Thank's lot.

  • Mine is stock everything except a -1 vortex front sprocket and I did something every 07 08 zx6r should due, the jumper mod, which changes the ecu map to euro configuration giving about 8 more horsepower on the top end and it is completely free to due. thanks B.

  • @bckrum Hey i have the same 07 zx6r! please help me! with the (jumper mod) i really want to do it too mine too! how do you do it?

  • I have a 07 zx6r i was wonder how did you do that jumper mod? and can you explain it to me? thank you

my zx6r has a two brothers slip on

sprocket dn 1 in the front and up 2 in the rear

    K/N air cleaner

  • @bckrum I have a 09 zx6r thats stock, So whats this jumper mod and how does it work? How do you go about doing this?

  • You must not know much about super sport bikes. Every new 600cc bike is good for at least 165-175 mph bone stock. If I had switched it to kmh you would have seen 292 kmh.

  • By the way fuckem247, you need to learn how to spell if you are going to make rude comments to people and maybe pickup a magazine every once in a while about bikes. You might learn a few things.

  • @bckrum

I have a 2007 ZX6R as well. Obviously this guy does not have a clue what he is talking about. I know you hav e it set right because you hit around 80 in first gear. That is one of my favorite things about the Kawi SS bike; it's first gear is a beast!

  • a 600 will not do that fast bru really theyre pushing 160

  • @bckrum The problem with that would be the fact that you are relying on us believing you were in fact going 180 MPH.

You were going 170 KMH which would be around 100 or so MPH.

  • @bckrum Wrong, sorry. A 600 will not do 165-175 stock, that's what the stock speedo may say but it's wrong. FYI, the 2007 ZX6R is good for 158mph stock. I own a 2007 with more mods and these bikes are actually very anemic from the factory...most owners got 98rwhp stock. Mine, with a K&N dropin, hollowed out stock muffler, PC3, timing retard eliminator and -1/+1 sprockets put down 102rwhp. Also the jumper mod supposedly keeps the exhaust valve open longer at high rpms, but will not gain 8hp.

  • @bckrum Sorry but your full of shit. I've got a 08 6R and so does my buddy, they start falling on their face about 135 and don't come near 175 let alone 180mph. Liter bikes cap out around 182-186.

  • @fuckem247 yea they are, you would have to turbo the shit out of it, but it could done.

  • @fuckem247 ...yes man....90% of youtube "f"users are childrens and 4 eyes stupids.

  • @fuckem247 They can do 120mph in 400 mtrs.Stock except exhaust my mate ran his '06 636 @11.9 with 0.8 R/T ( vid on here) and since has ran 11.2.

  • @fuckem247 Some moded 50cc can make 100 mph.... I don't see why a 600cc couldn't make 180mph !

  • @fuckem247

i agree with this guy....this looked no where close to 180mph

  • @fuckem247

You obviously know nothing about streetbikes, ps your a faggot.

  • @fuckem247 hey douche bag, 07 ZX6Rs have over 103HP adn only weigh 430lbs. they can beat a $250,000 lamborhgini. if he changed it to kph, the speedo would be jumping at about 20kph intervals....dipshit

  • Before the gear swap I have seen 177 the last little bit from 170 on takes a couple of miles. Before I did the jumper mod I could only muster 166 makes a big difference for no money.

  • i had 160 out of mine on a dyno in 5th, so take in air resistance and 6th gear and i'd be hoping for 165 at least.

  • Yeah the speedo is a little off I did a -1 in front. Other than the jumper mod and front sprocket its completely stock. More upgrades to come.

  • That's not 180 mph... the speedo is inaccurate. It's more like 160-150. Either way, awesome bike. I have an '08. Is your's all stock?

  • 160-165 I meant
