I was a late 90's teenager (ages 13 to 19 between '93 to '99) this song was actually not that famous or a big hit for too long probably only one year in '98. The late 90's was a great time for music lots of variety lots of alternative music with Spanish, European, American and many different singers from around the world. The sound was fun, mellow and 100 times better than today's garbage

This was a Danish group Los Umbrello's biggest hit. Since Macarena by Los Del Rio was such a big hit in '96, this Spanish themed song was well received in '98. I was 18 in '98 and remember all of the 90's and some of the 80's. What I don't like about this video is that the two female lead girls are blonde/blue eyed and clearly European (probably friends of Los Umbrellos who are from Denmark). It would have been better to have beautiful Latina/Spanish/Mexican girls singing this.

Hey there Toto! Actually, I stand corrected--you ARE right!! On the Promo Only CDs, which I used back then while DJing, the Top 40 version of this song came out in January 1998. But the club version was released in November 1997, a full 2 months beforehand! Wow, I never knew until I checked the Promo Only archives. (Damn Top 40 is ALWAYS behind, lol!!) @aaandra23 It still exists if you kept the CD album which I did. I was a teenager of the 90's and this takes me back to 1998. That year I finished high school and started University. The thing is though you must have been a little kid if you say your "parents" partied to this music. I partied to this when I was 18. And now all my old friends don't party and they have kids who love Justin Beiber and Miley Cyrus garbage music. 80's and 90's music were 100 x better than today's crap.
