This was one of the first computer games I ever bought, after getting an 800XL for Christmas in 1984. Pretty amazing graphics and sound for the time.

Thanks for posting this. Looks like a fun game. I remember everyone being amazed at the opening graphics sequence back in the day.

This game would not work on my 800xl or 130xe even with the XL translator. :( Thanks for showing me what was beyond the intro scene where he enters the ship!

yes, there are 2 version of the game: one is not compatible with Atari 800 XL computer and it's the Parker Brothers (USA) version.
The other one is the First Star Software (PAL) version that it's compatible and it's the one that I have :)
