  • Oh yeah, I remember seeing this in a computer store in Newton, MA around 1982(?) and being totally impressed.

  • I remember playing this, going "GET TO THE DAMN SHIP ALREADY!"

  • This was one of the first computer games I ever bought, after getting an 800XL for Christmas in 1984. Pretty amazing graphics and sound for the time.

  • love the opening sequence, lmao at the music, i like how there are like 500 planets around the earth, but I think I"ll stick with zone ranger...

  • think i'l fire up my old 800 this weekend and get in to nostalgia if it still works that is.

  • Thanks for posting this. Looks like a fun game. I remember everyone being amazed at the opening graphics sequence back in the day.

  • Ditto - I too remember being amazed by the title sequence... it looks oh so clunky now, but in it's day...

  • This game would not work on my 800xl or 130xe even with the XL translator. :( Thanks for showing me what was beyond the intro scene where he enters the ship!

  • yes, there are 2 version of the game: one is not compatible with Atari 800 XL computer and it's the Parker Brothers (USA) version.

The other one is the First Star Software (PAL) version that it's compatible and it's the one that I have :)
