  • a 1 persona le gusta 50cent

  • Lil wayne can't do this!

  • i miss rap

  • "today everything sounds so copied" where'd you think he took the sample from anyway???

  • @pirhanaaaaa The main beat and the soft string melody is sampled from the song Heart Beat , by Treacherous Three! which is a great song as well! Sampling is a art of its own...damn I wish real hip hop will be back someday..it may be up to us who know it to revive it .. weather you are a breaker , dj, graff artist mc, or a knowledgeable hip hop head!

  • LOved that afro-centric tone alot of rappers had back then! It was nothing for them to show pride in their heritage. Nowdays, you'll never see no young kids rockin' nothing like this!

  • YES! This is it RIGHT HERE!! This video is anpther example of why old school rap will always out do what's disrespectfully called rap today!

  • used to own this song but lost it anyhow... can some1 tell me on what album this song is or on what compilation or whatever i need to get it back cuz i cant live without this jam

  • @StreetballAttitude

This song is on the album "3 Feet High and Rising"...although they do have more than one version. Good luck in your search! :)

  • @WrightPrincess09 yeah i got this one but its not the version i used to own.... but nevermind thanks for your help anyway

  • @StreetballAttitude Well you wanted to know what album this is on and thats the album. I own maybe 3 different versions. This one doesnt have the full rhyme from the Jungle Brothers or the dialog at the end by Queen Latifah..is that the one you meant? Well anyways, Hope you find the one youre looking for :)

  • 0 people are idiots...0 dislikes. i wonder why

  • It's funny how Monie Love was never made fun of by anyone, for completely changing her accent when she went to America. Madonna did the same, when she came to England, and everyone made fun of her.

By the way, I think the Jungle Brothers are probably the most underrated group in Hip hop. Their 'Done by the forces of nature' album was the best Native Toungues album, but never gets lauded, like '3 Feet...' or 'Low End...' etc.

  • A song with a video that didn't need 1/2 nekid women working a stripper pole? No overly iced out snapperheads clucking around on a stage talking about their rides, stacks and cribs?

How ever were they able to accomplish such a feat using nothing but lyrical genius, mad flows, slammin' beats and an actual message for the masses?

Scientists need to stop developing the next "G" network for cell phones and get to building my damn TIME MACHINE!

90's hip-hop for life. You are missed.

  • @terryt56 I feel ur pain big time bru! Old school rap had an essnce to it that far surpassed that of today's (cough) rap music! Plus, old school rap just seemd for creative and advanced. Today everything almost sounds so copied, same redundant hook, same big booty ditsy chick, same corny ugly lookin' rappers tryin' to look cool....ptiful!

  • Heartbeat-Taana Gardner

  • i miss when the girls in the videos were regular, now you gotta be a porn star, lol.

  • senior year in h.s. (c/o 90). this was the theme song for my crew. i miss true hip hop and this was when we first got a look at a tribe called quest

  • How is it that this has less than 30,000 views, but something like Kanye Fucking West has millions? That's messed up.

  • Even though this song is about sex, it's suave and sophisticated compared to today's Hip Hop

  • @CrazyShakaZulu Educated Hip Hop at it's finest form. Hard to find many who do it better then De La. No mention of bitch, ho or any degrading word to our opposite sex. Dam I miss late 80's and early 90's Hip Hop.

  • these are the guys from feel good inc - gorillaz?

  • @Fuze107 yes

  • DAMN this is da real shit!

  • This is the definition of HIP HOP. 19,000 views how depressing.
