These are really the best superheroes. Wonder Woman... she has potential, but until they change her outfit (into something less skank-tastic and male-oriented and more powerful and iconic) and give her a decent NON-animated movie (she has a pretty good animated one already) she won't quite be there. Batman is the grim detective, who faces the madness of the world. Superman is the beginning and a beacon of good. Spiderman is relatable, and has to deal with true injustice (mostly to him).

@ledari If you was a real fan of Smallville, you would know that Tom Welling hasn't played Superman. He plays Clark he hasn't donned the full costume meaning he isn't Superman.

I liked Christian Bale's portrayal of Batman, but I don't know if I would say his was better than Keaton's. They portrayed the character in different ways. I would say that they're about equal to each other. I will agree that Kilmer's Batman was weak. And let's not talk about Clooney....

Christian Bale did do a great acting job for Batman, but the origin stories DO NOT sync as well as I had hoped. Like the part w/ Ra's -especially that- He never trained under Ra's; Batman knew that guy was evil the moment he saw him! And if you wonder why, you should read a few comics w/ the psycho in it.
